Contemplations of a knight
So often lost in quiet contemplations, viewing the world through wolven eyes... This is stuff. Just stuff. Stuff fueled by video games, boerdom and hotdogs. Its my personal fanfic/drawing/poetry log now. Like what you see? Leave a comment!~ :3
Dream
She was young when her adventure started, a child barely more than ten years old. She was weaker than most, born with a strange illness. But she had a brilliant mind, a creative talent that longed to be unleashed.
Her name was Yuki, she lived with her parents in a busy, hi-rise apartment in the heart of Tokyo. She was often on her own, both parents busy with work and the many issues that plague adults today. This often made her lonley, and she would draw pictures, pretending that they were her friends that only she could see.
But little did the small girl know was that she was to be a figure of legend one day in a world that not even she could have dreamed of.

The land of Pages was a world which was dying. Its citizens were imprisoned by a cruel tyrant. A man not of their world. The archangel Gabriel. Gabriel, the dark gentleman.
At first, many had stood up to this man, but he posessed a treasure that they could not combat. He fought with not a sword, but a pen. And he slew all who opposed him, taking the land of Pages under his complete domination.
In time, the creatures of the Page land learned that Gabriel was impossible to cross. And one by one, they bowed to his will. One by one, the bright vibrancy of the land of Pages dulled, as each creature's creative aura was destroyed, captured, and transfigured by Gabriel's mighty pen. Nobody would openly oppose him. Nobody dared, for they feared for their lives. But they were so afraid.
If the light of creativity ceased to shine for the creatures of mystery and imagination, then the land of Pages would simply cease to exist. And all artistic muse would die with it.

Yuki played the part of the undiscovered heroine when she came upon the worn, beaten book at the back of an old bookstore. Despite its age, its pages were smooth and rich, blank and awaiting to be filled with the art of a creative mind. After begging her mother to purchase the book, she carried it triumphantly home and set about drawing.
It was that night that she had a dream. A dream of a gentle face begging her to help him. To save the world he came from. She awoke with the dream burned in her memory.
Taking her newfound sketchbook, Yuki fled to her hiding place; an old, abandoned shrine down a forgotten path in the heart of the park. And there she spent the day, fixing her drawings. She was especially proud of two of them. One was a stick figure of a girl with horns, the other a deer sitting in a field with an elf. The two were surrounded by pointed sticks. Exhausted after her work, Yuki took a break, sitting down on a nearby slab of rock.
"If only you could be real." she chirped. "just like real friends."
It was when she first noticed her book was shimmering.

The drawings she had done peeled themselves off the pages of her book, clambered out and grew, shaking themselves and growing solid forms. Yuki stared in awe at the two creatures that stood before her. One was small, two long bull horns protruding from her tangled mass of waist length hair, thick glasses adorning her slender nose. She was garbed completely in cow print, from her vest to her chaps, wearing gloves that resembled hooves. She had a tail that flicked lazily.
The other was far from the deer and elf she'd drawn, but a mixture of the two. A slender, powerful woman with two great antlers and doe ears to match. Her skin was a nearly charcoal black, glowing amber eyes with an intense, fierce gaze. At her waist was a belt heavy with daggers and knives. And across her back was a large crossbow. Her doe ears seemed to be a mere ornament however, as her true ears were long and pointed, those of an elf.
The two looked around confused. Yuki stared in astonishment.
"You came to life!"

Truth be told, Yuki had found a treasure of enormous power, just like Gabriel's pen in the Page lands. How it had gotten to her, she had no idea. Her two creatures, who she dubbed Gria and Cupid (much to the elf's outrage) were as confused as she was, not understanding how they had come to be here, so far away from home. Upon Yuki's persistent questioning, they uncovered a link, a path to their world, the land of Pages. And upon realizing how Yuki had summoned them, they begged her for her help, just like the man in her dream had.
At the promise of their friendship, Yuki followed them without hesitation into the link.

She was to right the wrongs that Gabriel had cursed the Page lands with. She found that whatever she drew in her book, it became real in this world, and she enjoyed herself greatly. Gria and Cupid accompanied her every step of the way. And later, Ninian, the gentle swordsman of Yuki's dreams, would also join them

To save the dying world of Pages, to fight for a losing race. One must rely on skill rather than brute force.
In Yuki's situation, the pen is certainly mightier than the sword.

Storyline!!! >.<;;
This is for my level 3 design project.
I'm writing an anime and designing characters.
I don't want to go into too much detail like I did with Raine, but eh.
Also, I might change the title later on.
