Today's song was reccomended to me by my best friend. She said that it reminded her of my relationship with my dad, and she was very right. It's by Five Finger Death Punch... a metal band, which I'd honestly think I'd have nothing in common with. The song is "The Devil's Own" on their CD, The Way of the Fist. My relationship with my dad has never been good. He makes me feel so stupid by teasing me and making fun of me. He actually takes pleasure of making me look and feel so stupid all the time! This song mentions quotes like "Where did I go wrong? Who was I supposed to be? You always critisize me" and that's how I always feel! He makes me feel that he thinks I'm such a mess up and that he doesn't care about me at all. I feel like he hates me so days... This song helps with the pain. smile
