The next day was the same like any other day, the birds were chirping, the air smelled of roses... NOT. We were currently in a freakin' CAVE huddled next to a fire. Mimsie shivered, and I rubbed her back. I looked outside the cave, and I could see the sun rising over the hills. I would have been a beautiful way to start the morning if we weren't freezing our toes off. It was in the middle of December, and the whole area was frosted with white, white, and more white. If you don't know what the white was... go ask a friend.

Mimsie chattered, "S-Sam i-it's real-really co-cold in h-here..."

I looked at Jason and he tossed in some more twigs and slightly blew on the flames to get it higher. The cave felt slightly warmer.

Hawk stood up and went over to the ledge. I stared at him questioningly.

"I'm going to get some food."

He unfurled his long, black wings, and he was gone.

"Well, good bye, Mr. Anti-social b*****d." I muttered. Nick laughed uncontrollably and Jason grinned. Mimsie even gave a small smile.

Ah, yes. I loved my flock.
