As I lay upon my bed
Thoughts are running through my head
Tears are running down my face
I so want to leave this place
Looking into starry skies
I hear your voice and see your eyes
How long can this darkness last?
Will this black night ever pass?
Now it's time to make my flight
Step outside into the night
Wandering in an endless dream
Searching for something unseen
Gazing at the moon so white
So far away yet so bright
Once again I think of you
And hope we'll be together soon
Now I stand outside alone
I wish these dreams would never go
But I know they can never be
And it's back to cold reality
