Poetry from the Teenage NERD.
Part 9.
The mechanics aren't working.
the cogs aren't meshing.
Chains slip, bolts fall.
It's breaking in front of you.
You leave it,
to rust and ruin.
The clock ticks on,
I'm waiting.
The poison inside is spreading.
There's nothing to stop it.
No one to save me.
No one to bring me back to life.
The closure you bring,
will be meaningless,
if you can't keep your word.
If you go back on your lies.
I blink back the tears,
so they won't fall on the page.
Staining it,
giving me away.
Telling the lies,
I won't speak.
