Silver Lining
******** Atlantica.
As best as a leopard shark can, Luxord scowls, swimming in annoyance in a circle before he suffocates himself. Why in Kingdom Hearts had Xigbar and Zexion insisted he be assigned to a mission here? In this underwater hellhole, where merpeople were constantly poking him with spears and he couldn't even light a cigarette?
"I take it this isn't your favorite of worlds?" Lexaeus asks, somewhere to the right. Luxord isn't exactly focused on him.
Giving a despondent sigh, Luxord flicks his tail extra hard as he makes another 180. "I'm afraid not," he responds. "The natives are rather hostile to sharks, They have a despicably bad reputation on this world, unluckily for me." Suddenly, he remembers his manners. After all, Zexion would certainly not take kindly to any news of Lexaeus being treated impolitely. Not that he would try to take revenge, or something else rather 'petty', but still. One never knew when they might need to call in a favor from the Organization's Cloaked Schemer. Twisting to look at Lexaeus, Luxord begins with, "And how are you adjusting-?"
He then immediately trails off. Fortunately, Lexaeus doesn't notice, or else he might also notice how Luxord is gaping. The other Nobody is more concerned with understanding how to work his new tail, which seems to have replaced his legs. Unlike the other merfolk Luxord has seen so far, Lexaeus' tail isn't covered in scales. In fact, it's more like Luxord's shark fin, although its spots are white over navy blue instead of brown and gold. That's not what has Luxord gaping, however.
It's the fact that Lexaeus is very, very much shirtless. And has perhaps the best body in the entire Organization. And did Luxord mention he's shirtless? Oh yes...
As he ogles the body wet dreams are made of, Luxord remembers the two people responsible for this situation: Xigbar and Zexion. Ah. He blinks. All of a sudden, Xigbar's laughter and Zexion's knowing smirk at the news of his new mission make so much more sense.
Sly bastards Luxord thinks to himself, right as he gets his poker face straight and Lexaeus finally looks at him. "Shall we get going?" he asks, muscles flexing as he moves through the water. "I've become used to this now."
"Let's," Luxord agrees, all the while reconsidering the pros of Atlantica.
