mwa ha ha ha so i decided to randomly post that story i'm writing . . . knowing people no one will find this for like four months at least >.> yeeeeeeeah to anyone who finds this congradulations! i did this instead of religion homework ;3 well here ya go!
Once upon a time, a god created the world. The god loved the world so much it decided to create something to share its joy. And so the god created humanity, these people were overjoyed at being given this wonderful gift. They thanked the god for giving them something so precious to it. The god was happy as it watched humanity explore the world it had given them. As they explored, humanity learned to create and be closer to the god. They created different things with the help of the world the god had given them.
But as time moved on humanity began to create without stopping, taking from the world without truly appreciating it’s gift. They began to understand how the god made its world work. As they understood they began to manipulate the god’s world, twisting and changing it until it became misshapen. Humanity itself began to change as well, they had become heartless, greedy creatures whose only desire was to be god. They no longer cared to be closer to the god, they only wanted to replace it. But humanity realized they were not strong enough to kill the god. Instead they decided to prove they were better than the god. They did this by trying to create life.
The smartest of the humans were gathered and together they thought of ways to outmatch the god. These humans created the dolls, their twisted version of life. It was never told how, but through science the dolls were able to talk, move, even think. They had even been given strength and abilities that the humans believed could match the god.
When the god saw what the humans had done, its heart sank. The humans who it had once loved no longer loved it back. Some didn’t even believe it existed, that they alone had made their world beautiful. Others believed it to be cruelly punishing them with the distorted land and the misfortune that had befallen the world. These people, who it had loved and created, now wanted nothing more than to destroy it.
The god had no choice but to stop the humans. Fire rained from the sky, destroying the dolls and the facilities that held the humans that had built them. The humans who had survived blamed the calamity on the dolls, saying they were the cause of the fires. The few dolls that had survived were hunted, and most of them were killed. The dolls couldn’t understand the human’s anger and fled in fear upon the sight of their creators.
This is where our story truly begins, very few dolls have survived the hunts. Those who have “live” in constant fear of those who made them.
