A few days ago we got a notice saying we have a new manager for the apartment complex. I'm not positive why the old manager was replaced, but I have a feeling it's because she wasn't all that good. It seemed like her office was always closed or she was just heading into town to run an errand or she was taking the day off or something. It looked like she wasn't doing anything at all. For all I know she could have been very busy, but it looks like she just didn't want to deal with anyone. A couple months ago I made an entry about not having hot water for a week. There was also the sink disposal getting plugged. The first time we reported it we had to wait somewhere around 2 months for them to finally get around to fixing it. Shortly afterwards it got jammed again. They said we aren't using it properly so they will have to charge us to fix it again. I can sorta understand this. What really annoys me is the laundry. We get a little alcove to place our washer and dryer which has some folding doors. When we moved in they were pretty badly worn. A year ago one door fell off completely and a wheel to the other door broke. We reported it and 2 months ago they finally dropped by to look at it to see what they could do. Then they left and never came back. We've been waiting a year to get that fixed. A whole year. Maybe that's just been our own bad luck, but maybe other residents have had similar issues. I hope the new manager can have it fixed soon. I'm wondering if the custodian is still here or if he went too. He was a pretty nice guy. I haven't seen him in a while though. He's probably having to take it easy for heart problems. lol I wonder if anyone even reads these stupid entries and if they even care. It's no big deal if they don't though. razz

Anyway that aside I'm in the process of writing a couple guides. I've got one mostly finished for gun education in general. I've started a second one with all my gun vs sword arguments. I might also start on a guitar for beginners guide. Those are all works in progress. If I do get them done and post them I will link to them on my profile. The gun education one is going to cover safe handling procedures, safe storage procedures, basic descriptions, and some buying tips. A lot of things are opinion based so I'm trying to be as accurate as possible and point out where judgment is a factor. For good measure I'll have my friends at the Gaia Gun Enthusiasts read through it for good measure.
