Well, it rained all day today. Now, there are several things you can do when it's raining like it is today. You can sit at home and ignore it. If you have somewhere to go and you don't like the rain you can curse it, but if you're like me, you can walk a mile to your school and back just to get a text book and love every minute of it.
I didn't just walk to the school for the book. it was more of a 'prove myself right' thing to my mother because...well I'm sixteen and stupid. Sue me. The point is, that even if I hadn't had a reason I would have gone out in the rain, because I accept it as something that happens, and I love the feeling it gives me when I wake up.
I don't know if this happen to other people, but have you ever just woken up, and you have that feeling? The one where you feel your insides are all fresh and the air is clean and the lighting is just right so that your room has that gentle tint of blue. So you just have to look out the window and lo, and behold, it's raining! It's the same thing when it snows.
Turns out this rain is a Nor'easter or something, like it has an ethnicity, but apparently it's a hurricane with a crap load of rain, and some really bad winds. Well I could have told you that after my little walk. Apparently the rain is supposed to be icy cold, but I didn't notice. It wasn't really that cold. Anyway, the good thing is, school may be flooded and I won't have to go tomorrow. Which rocks because that would mean I'd get a free day to do my paper for Friday.
