Shu
Punches: Jab for standard, crouching jab for ducking. Quick, low-damage, good set-up. Kicks: Front toe lick for standing, shin swipe for ducking. Flashy, but of little use. Maybe a flinch or light pushback. Slashes: This is where Shu shines. Fast jabs and swipes, good combos. A rising slice for the ducking. Heavy Slashes: Standing heavy lunge. A good distance-closer, but leaves him wide open. For ducking, three quick stabs at the shin level. Throws: Three quick cuts across the torso, then for style, pushes them over with a finger. Special 1: A ranged special, think one-handed Hadouken with the free hand. The attack, however, is a blue fox's head with a tail of flame. Low damage, but it's a ranged option. Special 2: A quick spinning attack, basically a double-mid or a mid-high attack with the Jian. Close range with pushback, very fast with a low recovery time. Super: As the set-up, Shu sheathes his blade. Then, three rapid-fire power-and-a-half Fox Fires followed by a two-handed heavy Black one which does three or four times the damage of a standard Fox Fire. Opening pose: Shu draws his blade, and assumes his fighting stance, while the fox becomes a blue flame and encircles Shu for a moment before vanishing. Victory pose: The fox flame appears around Shu, then materializes into fox form. Shu sheathes his blade and pets it. Taunt: A whirling flourish of the blade, and maybe a sideways comment? Stance: I was considering a pose something like this as his standard fighting stance. Style: Fast low-power attacks. Easy to play, fairly cheap, but he gets the job done. Speed/Power: Speed 7, power 3
I kind of have a thought when looking at the fox like it was more of a spirit being than a physical one, and so I played off it.
