Prince Ampere
Punches: A single heavy cross standing, uppercut ducking. Similar to Cliff, but a little faster and slightly less powerful. Kicks: Heavy roundhouse standing, sweep ducking. Good for knockdown Slashes: Pain. Very fast hard horizontal slash standing, speedy shin jab ducking. No combo, though... None of Prince Ampere's attacks combo. Heavy Slashes: Downward two-handed slash standing, upward two-handed slash ducking. Some set-up time, but no more than the average character. Throws: Prince Ampere grabs the opponent by the throat and raises them off the ground. After saying "Unworthy..." he throws them hard on the ground and slashes them with his blade. Best throw damage in the game, but it's very hard to make him throw. Special 1: A fairly basic ranged attack, a blade of black flame comes in at mid-level. A bit of a set-up, but then the attack is like a bullet. Special 2: Similar to the Heavy Slash, but a) the weapon is covered in black flame for even more damage, and b) it is the ONLY unblockable attack in the game. The downside? huge amounts of set-up time, and pretty close-range. Super: As a set-up, Prince Ampere whips out a small black leather-bound book and recites and ancient and esoteric phrase. Then, from nowhere, a large black wolf rushes the target and bites down. It slides into the target, and then the target slowly has their health eaten away over the rest of the battle. Think poison. Opening Pose: The scene turns dark, and from the ground, wrapped in a cocoon of wispy shadows rises Prince Ampere. The shadows dissipate, the scene turns to normal, and he assumes his stance. Somewhere in the distance, you hear a wolf howl. Victory Pose: "Now you know... Never to face me." And with that, black flames wreathe the fallen person, and they disappear. Taunt: He conjures a ball of black flame in his off-hand, laughs maniacally for a moment, then dispels it. Stance: He stands with his left hand on the sword that floats over his back, and his right hand out towards the opponent, palm first. The stance is roughly profile. Style: Speed and power melee. This is supposed to be a real challenge, as he is mr. big evil final boss. Come on, we all thought M. Bison was a p***k the first time. That said, his super is fairly lame, and his specials are easily avoided. Speed/Power: 6/7
