Yes dude. Totally watched the new trailer for "Stones in Exile" and it looks sleek and cool. Plus, it's much better quality than ones I have seen. Plus, at the end, "Ladies and Gentlemen" has some better quality clips. I saw some pictures I've never seen before. Some sweet s**t.
I was also absently watching some of the Zeppelin movie and a thought had occurred to me: Zeppelin is supposed to be a raging heterosexual band, but when I watch them perform, all's I see is two men grinding all over each other and basically making moans at each other, watching each other more than anything else, giving blatant stares. Just, it's so much stage gay.
I totally am super excited. I just heard a clip of "Rock Off" and it sounds super cleaned. I like the gritty sound of it, but when I heard a clean version, it sounded really crisp. Perhaps this is a sign that the Stones are going through their back catalog/archives/vaults and putting things out there. So many wonderful things have been popping up.
And oh s**t dude. Is it just me, or is YouTube nothing like it used to be? How home they seem to be removing things faster and more frequently? From what I have been learning is that more ads are being inserted meaning that management companies are now interested in YouTube as a way to advertise and their investing money in it. The many interns that now surf YouTube to delete out any material that they own, or think they own (looking at you, ABKCO. Stop deleting Stones videos.) Now it seems as the battle today is Free Internet vs. Copyright.
Used to be the 'do it yourself' video thing, now it's that they tell you what to do and what to upload. I can see a little for the Stones since now things are getting official releases, but ABKCO seems intent on deleting a lot of things for the Stones.
I've been really reading on the Stones and there are very positive signs. Magazine covers, lengthy promotions, many praises, it's all in good signs. Well, except for Ronnie's shenanigans.
Again, no music. I should totally listen to some. Been having the urge to listen tot he Kinks for a bit.
