Saru at his desk at school that Monday morning, as he shuffled his pencil back in forth in his fingers. Lila came up beside him and looked at him a bit confused. "What's the matter?" She asks. He turned slowly laying his pencil down. "Nothing." She grinned her blond hair covering her tan skin and the smirk she hid. "Oh, it isn't that little girlfriend of yours again is it? You know if I were you I would have found someone else by now. After all she is very far away. Hmm, how about you just don't tell her you're with someone else. I mean really when's the last time you heard from that thing?" He glared up at Lila, his brown eyes piercing into her. "Her name's Mitsukaiko." Lila rolled her eyes, "Fine fine your little Mitsu." "Only I call her that." He said irritated and flung his back pack on at the sound of the bell. Standing up he shoved past Lila and out into the hallway heading for the door. He needed to get home as quick as possible. What if Mitsu had finally sent him a message. What if something was really wrong with her. This was unlike her. "Saru!" Called Lila again. He turned and was faced by a group of girls. Lila, the tall and fair blond, and her little group 2 black haired brown eyed bitches. He sighed "Yes Lila, Kari, Lana?" The two in the back giggled at their names as Lila stepped forward. "Why are you always in such a rush? You know if you would slow down a bit I could relieve some of that stress..." She said wrapping an arm up around his neck. Saru shuddered as he shrugged her touch off of him and turned back around. "I need to go home to Mitsu." He said walking away faster. The girls behind Lila giggled again as Lila shouted after him "GOOD LUCK WITH THAT!!!" With a grunt she turned twitching away. All those girls had walking problems apparently, because it wasn't like they actually walked away. More like twitched away their asses moving back and forth like a bunch of robotic morons. Maybe they thought it was attractive to guys, either way Saru just found it repulsive. Once again there was another day of nothing but rain. He trudged home, his sleek black hair sticking to his head and face. She has to of said something by now... he thought approaching his front door. He opened the front door as three dogs ran up greeting him, he stroked them gently as he headed off to his room. Switching on the computer and going to his e-mail his heart raced when he saw an e-mail from Mitsu. Then... he saw the title. "I'll Haunt You Forever." He clicked it when a long message came up Dear My love Saru, I just don't understand how you could have left me like that. You could have at least talked to me about it like you said you wanted to instead of sending me an e-mail nearly two days later saying that you'd moved on to another girl! I mean really. Well I'm living up to my promise. By the time you read this I'll be dead. I WILL haunt you. You may never see me, but I'll lurk in your shadow and watch your every move. Apparently you never did understand how much I loved you. You always said you loved me just as much, you claimed you'd stay forever and beyond. WHAT IS THIS!!!??? I'M THE LIAR!!!??? I think not... though I could never be mad at you, and i hate yelling, so I'll cya sometime in the after life. I love you... Saru... Love, Mitsu
Saru tried to catch his breath as he sent one e-mail after another to her. Why hadn't he sent her some before asking if she was okay!? What had happened? His life was just ripped away from him in a matter of seconds. Was she really dead? Was she behind him this moment? Had she saw the Lila thing? Thoughts raced in his mind as he put his face in his palms and began to cry. How weak for a guy to cry, he thought. But who wouldn't cry when they had lost everything. He stood up and locked his door behind him as he fell backwards plummeting onto his bed landing roughly. He grabbed the locket of hair he had received from her and went back through pictures of her smiling at him. All the letters with hearts and I love yous. All the sweet promises she'd made him. Then he found what he'd kept hidden for so long to keep the scent, to keep it protected. A little stuffed animal he'd gotten in the mail from Mitsu. A small little two-toned brown dog. He held it against his cheek taking in the scent as he cried harder. The dog had been Mitsu's favorite. She'd received it as a gift from a teacher after a surgery. He looked at it wiping away his tears. "Mitsu..." He whispered. He opened up his window looking up at the rainy sky, and the hidden full moon. Was he really going to call Lila for help? It was stupid of him but he needed someone. Reluctantly Saru picked up his cell phone scrolling down to Lilas number and called her.
