Mitsu awoke surround by complete darkness everywhere. Reaching up the air turned white with signals appearing all around her. Name's of locations of people she knew in her past life. Finally she came across one particular name Saru Mikuchi. She tried letting tears loose but nothing came, it was as if her body had an absence of liquid, blood, everything but her outer appearance. Could others see her though? She flicked the floating name with a finger as it exploded into the air shattering like glass all around her. Suddenly she starting falling rapidly, her hair caving in around her as she searched for something to grip onto desperately. She found nothing when there it was; light. The falling stopped as she steadily picked herself up off the ground and looked up. It's... Saru.. she thought when she looked up. Saru was sitting on his bed phone in hand and it was ringing. Surely he's calling me. She thought. He doesn't believe I'm dead. That's it that has to be it. "Hey Lila." Spoke Saru. Mitsu stood there gaping at what he'd just said. Wha- What was that!? She screamed in her mind. She jumped up onto his bed silently. Hmm, apparently i am invisible. She thought. But there has to be a way to become visible. She leaned her head over his shoulder leaning close to his cell phone. "Hey Saru, it's unlike you to call me, what's this all about?" Asked Lila. "Well... Mitsu.. I don't know what happened. She claims I left her and that by the time I read that e-mail she'd be dead. She just can't be dead it's impossible." Mitsu hissed at his response. So, he really didn't believe I loved him that much, and what does he mean? Claims he left me? He did leave me! She thought angrily. Lila was silent, then finally spoke again, "Well, uhhh I'm sure it was a bluff. I mean let's not be hasty or anything she'd never do that I'm sure. Though does that mean you'll move on?" b***h... grunted Mitsu. "Uhh, well I doubt I could move on, but I'm sure you could help me feel better." He said perking up a bit. Lila purred through the phone, "Oh, that's good. I'm glad you've finally taken up my offer to relieve your stress Saru." She laughed a bit and continued "You know this should have happened a long time ago I'm sure you'll be much happier with me. I mean really what could she have ever done for you? She's USELESS!!!!" Saru looked down at Lila's words debating on their truth. Mitsu flared with anger as she jumped up in front of him flailing her arms wildly. NOTICE ME DAMMIT!!!! she thought, maybe I should try speaking. She opened her mouth but to no avail. Nothing came out what so ever, only an eerie sounding hiss. Saru's head jerked up at the sound of it and he blocked it out of his mind and started talking again, "T..tomorrows Friday, and my parents are going to be gone until Sunday, how about you come over tomorrow and stay till Sunday?" He asked a bit sheepishly. "I'd love that Saru. I really do think this was for the best, but tell me why did you get so quiet?" Saru paused then answered, "I thought I heard something... I guess not.." "You're letting this get to you Saru. She's fine sitting at home in another guys arms I guarantee it. Now I'll cya tomorrow at school." "Okay." concluded Saru hanging up. He turned back around grabbing the dog and laid down. Oh no he doesn't he doesn't even deserve to touch that dog! Thought Mitsu. She grabbed the dogs ear, and... SHE COULD TOUCH IT!! At that she tried touching Saru but her hand went right through him. So, I can touch dead things, but not alive? She let go of the dog and floated through a door to one of Saru's dogs reaching down to stroke it. The dog jumped up at her touch. Mitsu tried speaking once again saying "It's okay it's just me Mitsu." The dog calmed as she laid back down on the ground looking right at Mitsu. Her words had came out as a hiss again, but had the dog understood her? This was making no sense. She could touch and talk to animals, touch non-living things, but was it humans, only humans? That she couldn't touch or speak to? I guess I'll find that out tomorrow at Saru's school when I try killing Lila. She said with a sigh as she hovered back to Saru's side. She laid down beside him placing her head on his chest, making sure to hover and not fall through as she placed a hand on his cheek. Good night Saru. She thought and kissed his cheek. She slowly drifted to sleep, whatever sleep for a ghost really was. Though she had no dreams she woke with memories of nightmares that had never even happened.
