Ever have one of those days where it is absolutely beautiful outside and you find yourself stuck inside at work or school? Well, I guess its not so bad when you live in a place like where I used to live and its sunny every single day of the week.
But, as you should know from my first post, that is no longer the case.
Sush was the case today. I finaly got some days off at work(I work in a grocery store), and it rained all day yesterday! I was hoping I could go shopping with my mom but insted we ended up decorating my bathroom and a few other rooms in the house. Oh well, I suppose I should save my money if want to use it at the con I'm going to for my birthday. Of course, thats not whats steaming me! The thing that fires me up is I had to get up at the crack of dawn to go to work, and when I finaly left at 4 in the afternoon, too tired to do anything else, I dicovered that it was an absolutly gorgious day! I hate it when that happens!!!!
Ok, now that I have that off my chest, I would like to say a few things in favor of the world.....
I have loved horses ever since I was a child. They are such majestic and beautiful animals. When we moved here, my parents managed to buy a house that was next to horse property. The owner is a nice man who lets me feed them carrots whenever I like. About a week ago, my little brother ran downstairs and pulled me outside. I wanted to smack him, but insted I dident because in our yard was a large black horse with a little white strip on his mussle. Something about that made me feel so much better the whole day through, even with the cloudy skies up above. Its amasing how simple things like that can change our outlooks on everything we see...
Again, I will bring this to a halt. I would like to ask the readers this one question before I close for the day. We see people all the time, its just natural. We see people who are always happy and in good moods and we see people who are always sad and whining and complaining about something. We all get in moods like this every now and again, and its imposible to avoid. But my question is, who decides how our days and moods are? Do the events of the day make us change our moods or is it simply how we look at them? Or is it all in our heads and we decide what our day will be and we determine what we let ourselves feel? Think about it when you get the chance....
Untill we meet Again,
