- X Almost Gone -
As promised, I am beginning to track down the 'evolved' X. I managed to gather most of the untransformed X, which healed my burns quite nicely ...
And yet, I worry. I have to get them all on Gaia before the Federation takes even more of an interest.
There are still a few SA-X left. Each fight is hell in a hand basket.
There's a LI-X or two out there, I am certain of it.
There is also a Paula-X, though ... I'm not sure how that happened. She wasn't a fighter in Brawl, so she couldn't have gotten her DNA copied. How is she still alive? She's not part Metroid ...
No. This doesn't make sense. Surely, she was seeing things.
But back to the point: They are almost gone. They were foolish enough to gather, and they paid the consequences.
They must not have evolved after all.
- Damned FOOLS! -
I am NOT going to even bother censoring the disgust and rage I feel.
I saw Adam in bloody bandages yesterday. He went to resign; the Federation beat him to it, and gave him quite a beating. Words ... words cannot describe how angry I am.
What Adam described to me in their labs horrified me even more.
X samples. Databases on everyone's genetic code on plenty of planets.
They're willing to go above and beyond to ... ... let the X fester. They think they can control it! The nerve! The ... I thought they were stupid before, but this surpasses what they did before.
There is also a database of Gaian's genetic codes. ... Snake. Ganondorf. Ness. All of them are on there. ...
And our "red-coated friend," as Adam put it, is there as well. Adam Arclight (I hate that they share names) ... finally, we know his name.
They're not even going to get his. The last thing we need is ten Arclights.
They plan on creating a super-creature, if one must say it.
Something that has the abilities and memories of ... everything. They're using the X to do it (and it can be done, at least with two creatures).
That ... will not work. There are so many ways that will not work. But it's useless to try and talk to them out of it; they're stupid, but headstrong. I can give them that, at best.
They are not going to succeed, this foolish Federation.
They lost the best commander they ever had, and they're going to regret even considering laying a hand on him.
Once I get there, it's personal.
The monitor shuts down.
