Why did I let you talk me into flying over the volcano....

You didn't tell Tina what he tried to do?

Past experiences tell me that it's better to leave Tina in the dark.

What about Onima?

I finally got up there, but she was gone.

...Where is she?

If I knew that, I wouldn't be sitting here chewing on a steak. Now what's up with you?

Almost a full moon...

Zapook glared at Zee before pointing toward her backside at her own wolfish tail.

...I thought you were taking medication or something for that.

There's no medication for lycanthropy Zee. It's a potion to help me control changes.

Sounds like medication.

I will maul you.

I'll maul you first.

I will....do you smell water?

I do. Zee said, leaning over the side of the ship. The two of them smiled down at the patches of steaming water below, and decided to have Aussa land the ship.
What better way to help get volcanic ash out of us then a dip in the hot springs?
Zapook laughed. The six of them left the ship, and decided to give the area a look around.
Tina, Zee, and Zapook decided the hot springs would do them fine. Aussa however, joined them a bit late. Zapook was sitting in a pool already, with Tina at one side, and waved her down.

Yo! Strip and dip, Aussa!

...You're both naked?

Actually, I am wearing my undergarments. ...But yes, Zapook is in her birthday suit.

...Weird. Isn't the water hot?

Super hot. But you should be able to handle it.

Well...I really came down here to tell you Louie did more hunting since we stopped for a rest. Our hold's about ready to burst.

That's good! We can go back and celebrate tonight!

Yeah. ..Where's Zee?

She exclaimed that the water was not to her liking and found the owner of this site to join him.

...This place has an owner?

Yeah.
Zapook sat up, and randomly pointed with a smile.
That way. Can't miss 'em.

Aussa nodded, before heading in that direction, only to find Zee sitting in a large pool of lava with an extremely overweight man.

...Um...Zee?

Yeeeeesss?

I..came over here to tell you....ok. Why are you in lava?

The water wasn't hot enough.

...right...Anyway, You don't have to hunt for a while...since...our hold's about full...

Good. i was gonna try and find somethin before we left. glad you told me.

...doesn't that hurt?

"Oh ho ho, no child!" the man yelled cheerily, "These springs are made for the relaxation of others."

I meant...the lava...

"Oh...that might hurt you, yes."



After their little dip, the cheery group headed back to the ship, just in time to see Louie throwing some of the food out. Seems while everyone else was relaxing, Louie discovered half their food had spoiled. In an effort of making things up to the group, and mostly Zapook, he was cleaning house before the rest of the food went as well.

As the ship too off again, they noticed that the temperature was dropping, and the air was becoming cleaner. Knowing their journey was reaching the home stretch left some of them happy, and left Zee extremely antsy for some reason.
As they floated along, the ship rocked as something made contact from behind, and felt as though it were being dragged down. The crew held on for dear life as it slammed do the ground. Finally making it around the back of the ship, they saw several hooks digging into the very back, with their own ship being tied to another passing airship that had also landed.

Before any of them could pull the hooks out, the dark figure that had haunted them once before was charged from the cabin of the opposing ship.
That's when they realized where they had seen this ship before.
With a huge leap, the figured soared from it's own ships to theirs, and the group was faced with a very, very pissed off elk; it was Carl.

They all held their ground and waited for him to make a move. His eyes flashed as he gazed from one crew member to another. Without warning he bolted toward Zapook, who had her back against a wall, but before he could making contact, Zee had plowed him into his side, digging her own horns into the foul thick fur of the enraged elk. Zapook instantly snapped out of her fear-filled stance and ordered Aussa to get this ship off the ground while pulling Louie over to where the grappling hooks had dug into their ship, proceeding to pull them out.

Onima screamed and hid, and Tina, unsure of what to do, watched as Zee and Carl went tooth and hoof with one another. Carl's crew didn't seem as though they wanted to get involved, and instead watched their guide fight with the red cat girl for 15 minutes or so, before he was throw against the railing. With a deep breath, Zee took away his chance of getting up and charging once more, by unleashing a huge fiery blast from her mouth. The blast took a good chunk of that railing out, but also knocked Carl clean off the ship as well. Tina immediately rushed to the railing and peeked over it, seeing the scared, bleeding, and now slightly burnt elk stand once more. He looked up at their ship as it began to take off once more, but he didn't seem to have anger in his eyes any longer.

A loud thump made Tina whirl around again, and she saw that Zee had collapsed to the ground, covered in gashes and cuts that were no doubt made by Carl's large antlers and sharp hooves. After Louie and Zapook had returned, Zapook and Tina helped Zee down to the barracks for a good rest.
