She wants to WHAT!?
I didn't even do anythin' yet and all of your are jumpin on my a**! Give a girl some breathin room!
You want breathing problems?! How about a wring your skinny neck! !
Hey! Kill me, you kill yourself!!
How could you even...I KNEW you were up to something the moment you agreed to go through with this! Did you not see how much heartache and turmoil we went through? And you go along with this just so you can get a meal?!
Seriously! What the hell are you hoping to gain from this!
BACK! OFF! Besides! You two idiots are the ones that tried to twisted my arm for me to come on this stupid trip! I was gonna chill at home and eat in front of the tv!
GIRLS!!
The three of them stopped, and looked up at Louie, who had just sighed as he watched them
Now is not the time to be arguing, don't you think?
Louie pointed out to the horizon, the girls following his arm as their own eyes met with the sight of what looked like a crashed news helicopter. Louie slowly turned toward the sight himself, with a bit of surprise, and the ship slowly pulled up along side the wreck.
After a short stop and a small talk with the half alive pilot in the chopper, Tina and Louie took care of getting any loot from the wreck, per the poor guy's request, and Zee....She took care of the poor guy, against her sister's wishes.
The crew was getting eager. The ship itself loomed closer and closer to the deity, who didn't seem to stop growing as their ship slowed to a halt. Zee looked as though she were about to cry tears of joy.
"You've traveled far, my friends. I can't thank you enough for braving these skies to come to my aid."
Aussa and Tina stared up at the creature as it spoke, while Zapook watched Zee like a hawk, holding Zee by the collar. Louie, having seen all this before, just stood by idly, and waited for the deity to end it's speech, only to snap to attention when he realized the deity had cut his speech short and was staring down at Zee. It towered over their ship, like a child over an insect, and chuckled, "Eyes bigger than our stomachs, huh?"
You have no idea how much this stomach of mine can take.
Zee grinned smugly, pulling herself away from Zapook as she stepped in front of the crew.
"I know larger creatures than you have tried. You may think they you are bad enough to try and sap my power, young demon, but I assure you, You won't even get a tentacle down. Besides, I'm weak, why put so much effort into a weakened deity that you would not get much from."
Deity. You're a deity, I'm a demon. It's only natural that I try, am I right?
Zee laughed, turning toward the disappointed and angry faces of her family, but didn't seem to be bothered by the dirty looks she was getting.
"Do you like calamari?"
...What?
"Octopus, young demon. Do you like it's taste?"
...Not really.
"Are you aware that you currently hold more power than I?"
...I do?
"Oh yes. Be proud young demon. Those who seek power should pursue you, instead of the other way around."
A smile began to grow on Zee's face, and before long, she was standing with her tail up, and chest out.
I am pretty bad a**, aren't I?
"Oh my yes. and your homes..."
What about our home, sir?
"The turmoil I see, even from here. You should be getting back. These voyages are no longer a pressing matter. Instead, you should worry about protecting your very way of living."
We'll be heading back now, thank you for your kind words.
Zee proudly strutted into the cabin of the ship, followed by the rest of the crew, as they brought out any and all they had to give to the deity. Afterward, he laid an appendage on the ship, and engulfed it in light...
The ship appeared right outside Barton, a few feet above the ground, and dropped to the dirt, collapsing then and there.
...All that work put into this ship...all that money....and it's done for.
On the bright side, I'm more powerful than a deity.
...You do realize it said that only to get you to leave it alone, right? I mean, come on Zee, you are not more powerful than a deity, you idiot.
Zee stared at Zapook before tackling her off the front of the ship, pinning her to the ground and raising both fists in anger. I'll show you who's powerful!
Just before her fists connected with Zappook, a squeal made the both of them jump as a naked Onima collapsed onto the two of them, knocking Zee out cold.
Zapook managed to push the two of them off and looked up, seeing the withering mushrooms still stuck to the side of the ship right above them. She then grinned down at Zee, who was passed out on her back, and Onima, who was blushing immensely and trying to cover herself. Zapook took her own jacket off and wrapped it around Onima.
Thanks hun, I really owe ya one.
It was several hours later, the crew was back at Tina's home after saying their good byes to Louie, who seemed rather sad to see Zapook leave.
The remaining members, Ekone, Koopling, Wolven, Pepper, and the rest all welcomed them back with a small feast. Realizing it was Halloween, Tina and Zapook began to talk amongst themselves, planning what little they could with the time they had left, yet none of them could shake the strange atmosphere that bombarded them when they stepped out the door. Aussa's nerves had finally calm as she sat outside, watching the spirit foxes place in the breezy weather.
A chill had suddenly went down her spine, a for a split second, she saw a figure with a glow resembling the foxes around her, but it was gone before she could figure out what it was. Uneasy, she rushed into the house, calling for Tina. The foxes all rushed in after her.
