The CODE of The Void Eight
1. I a Child of Shadow hereby vow to serve the Void Eight in general.
2. I a Child of Shadow hereby vow that the life of this void faith of truth will live on, if only in me.
3. I a Child of Shadow hereby vow that life is void, dull, and a waste if I do not serve The Void Eight
4. I a Child of Shadow hereby vow that pain for the Fathers and Mothers and the Grand Patrons is neccesary to appease them.
5. I a Child of Shadow hereby vow that if I break from this code I will speak of my sins to any Listener or the High Speaker and receive the requirements to appease my Patrons and gain their forgiveness.
6. I a Child of Shadow hereby vow to never take a truly innocent life.
7. I a Child of Shadow hereby vow that I understand the difference between innocence and the Tainted.
8. I a Child of Shadow hereby vow that to be Tainted is to be considered dead to my family in the Shaded Temple.
9. I a Child of Shadow hereby vow that the Void Eight are my true masters in life and when I enter the Void i will join them as a Wraith or Lower Reaper depending on my actions in life. Should I be of the Tainted I will become a Wraith and therefore unreachable by my Shaded Family and considered the lowest form of un-life that exists.
