Rules and Traits:
• All Hozuki must have the water release.
• With the exposure to water, the Hozuki clan member can increase his/her size by merging with the water. An example of this was when Suigetsu was fighting against Killer Bee.
• The Pure Hozuki Clan Members do not have blood. This is due to the fact that during the course of their evolution, the water thinned out the blood in their former human bodies. Therefore, they are unable to do summons unless given blood by another. An example of this is when Suigetsu in the Manga dripped Sasuke's blood onto a summoning scroll in order to summon Manda.
• Do Not Need To Be Near a Body of Water To Use Water-Style Jutsu.
• Doujutsu does not distinguish Hozuki members from other water. Only applies when in and or near water.

Background:
Evolution can be a very long process which is exactly how the Hozuki Blood limit came about. Thousands of years ago, there lived a nomad tribe called “The Sagasu”. They were constantly on the move, in search for food, shelter, and a better way of life. However, every location they would station themselves in would not satisfy. They wanted a perfect place to settle in, a flawless place, with endless food and materials to grant them their survival. Their greed kept them going and soon, they began drifting into the sea, in search of other bodies of land.
The Sagasu tribe would take months to build several boats in order to search for their paradise. As soon as all the labor was complete, they would begin their journey. The travel was exhausting for the tribe, for they were at sea for countless days and nights, searching for something they weren’t sure even existed. But the self-indulgence of the tribe was immense, and even if it meant losing some of their members on the way, they refused to turn back.
After months and months of searching, the tribe finally got sight of land. It was an island part of the Water Country, surrounded by clear blue water, evergreen trees filled with endless supplies of fruit, and sunny skies. The Sagasu tribe believed they had finally found their paradise; which they named Mukizu Island. Immediately, they removed themselves from their boats and made shelter. However, it wasn’t long before chaos would soon be the impact of their greed.
Just after two weeks of settlement; the island was struck by a tremendous storm. Violent lightning would set fire to the trees, scorching the entire island of its vegetation. By morning, the only thing that was left was the wreckage of their homes and dead bodies. In addition, the island was slowly being engulfed by water, soon to disappear under the sea.
The tribe was now well aware of the islands aggressive behavior and chose to leave at once. However, their boats would not allow them because they were destroyed during the storm. They were unable to make more because all the trees for wooden material were burned down from the fire. The Sagasu tribe was now trapped within the island. Something they once thought was their paradise was now their prison.
For the next ten thousand years, mutation would take place. The more the water level began to rise upon the island, the more the tribe would evolve and adapt to their moist surroundings. Slowly, their bones began dissolving in their bodies due to the lack of protein and calcium they consumed. The chakra circulating within them became greater in order to keep them standing on the little bit of land there was left. They became skilled at breathing underwater. Their skin became pale and permeable, which resulted in the water surrounding them being absorbed into their bodies. After so many years, the Sagasu tribe had transformed into something else…The Hozuki Bloodline.
While entrapped within the island, the Hozuki began discovering the chakra within their bodies. As a tradition, they began training their children from young, in order to participate in fighting competitions for entertainment, pride and strength. They mastered the water release as well as controlling their bodies to their advantage…
Recently, the Hozuki Bloodline was discovered by merchants accompanied by shinobi. Never had the shinobi laid eyes on strange people like the Hozuki. On the other hand, the Hozuki were well aware of the humans that discovered them. Even thought it has been several thousand years, the story of the Sagasu tribe never died. It was told and passed on through generations and generations, in order to describe the greed the Sagasu tribe had, and the punishment they received from it. The Hozuki were well aware of their former body structure and were willing to learn more about it by going along with the merchants and shinobi. This was the first time the Hozuki would be able to step foot outside of their island. While the young and vibrant members of the Hozuki were eager to leave, the elders stood, refusing to abandon their current home. Once everything was decided, the few members said their goodbyes and left, ready to face a world outside on their own…the world of a shinobi….

Kekkei Genkei Techniques:
• Mugen Korosu [ Infinite Breath ] -E-Ranked- [ Bloodline ]
Due to the evolution of the Sagasu Tribe, the Hozuki are able to breath underwater without the need to come up for oxygen. This may serve as an advantage for hiding from an opponent near bodies of water and surprise attack them. Remaining underwater is also a method of “relaxing” in order to become more energized.
• Suika no Jutsu [ Hydrification Technique ] -B-Ranked- [ Bloodline ]
By liquefying the whole body at will, this technique makes it impossible to receive damage from physical attacks. From a single hair to the skin and muscles, everything can be liquefied and solidified at will. Be it to evade an enemy's attack during a short range battle, to infiltrate a structure, or to launch a surprise attack in a liquefied state, this technique boasts a high strategic value. Using this, the user can also re-shape their body parts for suitable situations.
The only way to contain a user of this technique is to lock them up in an airtight container so they cannot move about. When the user passes out, they turn into a jelly-like state. As this technique turns the body into water, the user is vulnerable to lightning techniques. When Suigetsu was pinned down by Darui's sword, imbued with electricity, Suigetsu noted that he couldn't liquidise properly
• Suiton: Gōsuiwan no Jutsu [Water Release: Great Water Arm Technique] -B-Ranked- [Bloodline]
By putting the Hydrification Technique into practical use, the muscles of the arm are temporarily enlarged and strengthened. Moisture is gathered from the whole body and compressed into the entire arm, like an instant pump-up. However, because it is essential to properly control the moisture balance inside the body, this technique's degree of difficulty is very high. The technique gives the user superhuman strength, capable of breaking through both rock walls and steel doors.
Ninjutsu:
• Kawarimi no Jutsu [ Body Replacement Technique ] -E-Ranked-
Kawarimi no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique. When in danger the ninja will quickly substitute themselves with another nearby object. This can be a block of wood or even another person. This allows the ninja to quickly flee and hide while the original object takes the brunt of their opponents attack.
• Bunshin no Jutsu [ Clone Technique ] -E-Ranked-
Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. The Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja without substance. The copy resembles the ninja in every way. This clone can function as a distraction or as means to confuse one's opponent. As soon the Bunshin gets attacked or comes into contact with an opponent, it will disperse.
• Henge no Jutsu [ Transformation Technique ] -E-Ranked-
Henge no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. Henge allows the ninja to transform themselves into any person or object. This allows the ninja to move with stealth or to trick their opponents.
• Shunshin no Jutsu [ Body Flicker Technique] -D-Ranked-
Shunshin no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique. The ninja will appear and disappear in an instant, allowing them to retreat or attack suddenly. To facilitate the movement the ninja will often use nearby elements such as mist, sand or leaves to mask their appearance or disappearance.

Kai is a Ninjutsu technique which allows the ninja to avoid the effects of a Genjutsu illusion. After forming the needed handseals, the Genjutsu technique will not affect the ninja. The ninja can also use the technique on another individual who was unable to avoid the attack. After forming the needed hand seals, the ninja touches the one affected to end the affect of the spell.

A Naginata is a traditional Japanese Polearm consisting of a long wooden pole and a 30 to 60 cm blade that curves towards the top similar to a samurai sword. Used by Samurai in the Sengoku era, the Naginata blade is forged in the same way as a Katana making it highly durable. This is a general description.
Shomotsu's Naginata is in all effects a Naginata but also very different. The first difference is the blade; the blade is more square then sword like, much like that of a machete or a Chinese polearm save in the Katana blade style. The Tsuba is square around the blade and does not offer protecting to the sides of the fists whilst the pole is telescopic allowing Shomotsu to fold it away and store it easily until using it. Whilst folded away it looks like a machete and hangs from Shomotsu's martial arts belt via a drawstring. The Whole thing is made of metal and was crafted by Shomotsu himself after he read a book about weaponry and smithery. It was a long arduous process due to his clan's vulnerability to de-hydration and took him little over a year to build due to the constant need to takes breaks to drink water; even with all this hardship, Shomotsu is hardly ever seen without it. Shinobi Weapons:
• Shuriken:
This throwing knife is one of the common weapons of a ninja. It is often kept in a holster on the leg in a pouch attached to the belt. The Kunai can be used in conjunction with explosive tags and other weapons to form deadly combos.
• Kunai:
Another common weapon, the shuriken is often kept in a holster on the leg or in a pouch attached to the belt.
• Exploding Pouch:
A variation on the exploding note, these small pouches can be attached to a target and then explode a few seconds later.
• Makibishi:
This weapon is primarily used during escape, numerous makibishi are thrown on the ground and enemy soldiers will have a difficult time pursuing because the spiked metal can penetrate the sole of the shoe wear.
• Senbon:
The senbon was first used by doctors in acupuncture, it was then adopted by ninja and Hunter-nins to hit points on the body to cause death, deaden limbs or cause their target to fall unconscious.
• Exploding Note:
The exploding note is a piece of parchment paper which has script on it that serves to faciltate its explosive properties. The ninja can attach the note to another object such as a kunai or log. When the note is set it begins a slow burn which results in a large explosion.
• Exploding Smoke Grenade:
When the pin is pulled on this grenade, the result is a large explosion and the release of smoke. This allows the ninja to carry out their maneuvers in secret.
• Windmill Shuriken:
In its folded state, all four arms of the shuriken are folded together. When full unfolded the large shuriken can be thrown through the air causing great damage.
• HyourouGan (Soldier Provision Pills):
When the soldier pill is swallowed, it allows the ninja to fight for several days without rest. The pill is full of proteins and a special stimulant that momentarily increases the ninja's chakra.
• Concealed Mouth Ember:
When going into battle, a ninja may store a small combustible ember in their mouth. The ember must be bitten to be activated. The ninja can then spit the ember at a combustible substance to help ignite it.

• Wire:
Wire can be used in several situations. It can allow the ninja to create trip wire explosive traps, it can be used in rappelling, or as a method to tie down and restrict the movement of an opponent.
• File:
A file is normally hidden within the clothing of the ninja, if captured, the file can be withdrawn from its secret location to file and cut through metal.
• Mirror:
When the ninja wants to avoid putting themself directly in the possible line of attack, they can use the mirror to peak around corners to ensure the path is clear.

Background:
Shomotsu and Manga Hōzuki have far from known normal lives. Twin sons of Maria Hōzuki, the Kirigakure foreign ambassador. It was safe to say that the two boys knew a comfortable, if somewhat hectic lifestyle with a top notch home education and travelling from Village to Village with their mother in order to accompany her on her travels. It was not until the two Brothers ended up in Konohagakure, where their mother was trying to negotiate for more trade routes into the mainland for Kiri that the two boys suddenly began to develop into the men that they are today.
Manga, devoted himself to his study of the arts such as music, literature and art earning him a comfortable place as a high class academic. Thanks to their Mother's diplomatic privileges; Manga was just about to study in every single library, in every single village without limitation. These privileges saw him bury himself deeper and deeper into books about his favourite hero; Tobirama Senju the Second Hokage.
Elsewhere Shomotsu decided to devote himself to the study of martial arts rather then academics. He had heard of the great Taijutsu master Maito Guy and decided that following his example may have been the best way to teach him about life. Martial Arts were strict; focusing on rules and discipline and serenity whilst also stressing the points of humility and open mindedness. Shomotsu, a quick learner already, exceeded many of the martial artists in and around Konoha by an early age. Even going as far as to win a few junior competitions against graduated Genin.
The two brothers became highly accomplished within the village of Konoha, even though they weren't technically ninja; their fame soon spreading back to the shores of Water Country. It was coincidental that once the brothers hit the peak of their fame, negotiations with Konoha broke off and Maria and her sons were told to return to Kirigakure. Once they arrived, they were taken from their mother into the Academy all but instantly and soon became Genin of the highest calibre. Shomotsu earning his nickname "Fluid Steel" for his prowess in martial arts and his cold demeanour. Whilst, Manga's skills soon became comparable to that of a young Tobirama Senju earning him the nickname "The Reincarnation of Nindaime Hokage". The boys mother and clan were proud.
The boys' father has forever remained a mystery to them.
