~ Naruto: The Unknown Path ~
TABTAB A bloodied warzone, a pile of corpses, and the one he trusted most before him. She had been the one that trained him, nurtured him, guided him into the being he was now. Now she stood before him, a grin on her face, the director of the orchestrated betrayal. He felt something he never had before: anger, rage, hatred. He had killed all emotion because of his job, his duty. Now, all was cast aside. An explosion of silver light that enveloped a small country that he helped create. Everything he had, all the energy and passion, released at one time. So was the Scar formed between the Lands of Wind, Earth, and Stone.
TABTAB The boy should not have survived. He should have died with his mentor and friends, and was suppose to be allowed to join his family. Instead, he awoke bloodied, broken, and barely conscious with rough winds blowing sand over his body like a burial veil. And either by chance or something more, a native of Sunagakure, the Land of Wind's shinobi village, had decided to once again escape the confinds of her 'prison' and explore what laid beyond the village's barriers. She would have passed him by had it not been for the fact that a black spot catching her eye within the dunes a short distance outside Sunagakure. Upon closer inspection, the spot turned out to be a black coat that was worn by a boy, no older than the girl who was fourteen. He was of average build. He was not tall or short, fat of skinny. In fact, the only peculiar things about the boy was the fact that he wore such a coat in the heart of the Land's desert, and his silver hair. The hair was not long, only stretching about eyebrow length, but such a hair color had never been seen by the girl before.
TABTAB The girl could hear weak breathes from the boy, and he intreged her, so she hoisted him on her shoulder, using her body as a crutch for the boy. The walk to the gates was not long as all, but she felt something in between fear and awe. A power resonated from the boy's body. It had a flavor of pure chakra, but some something different. Once within the safey of the walls that blocked the village from wind and sandstorm, those guarding the village quickly took the boy from the girl's shoulder. How could they let a noble such as her do this kind of grunt work? The medical nin within the Sunagakure hospital tried to examine the boy's body, but proved difficult even in the boy's worn state. Try as they may, they could not remove the boy's coat; he refused to depart with it. So they did what they could as per instruction from the girl who found him: they gave him food, water, and a night to rest.
TABTAB Upon the girl visiting the boy's room the following morning, there was a panic. A medic assigned to the boy was now being held hostage with a kunai primed to slit his throat. His eyes... they gave off a sense of danger... confidence in his ability to kill and escape. His face mirrored that or a wolf about to pounce on its prey. So the girl did the natural thing. She risked her noble blood and entered as though nothing was wrong. This seemed to confuse to boy, which was what the girl needed. She was famous for her speed, even as young as she was. She was the fastest sprinter of Sunagakure, had the quickest reflexes of any shinobi from the Academy. However, her disarm attempt failed. Without warning, she had gone from an inch away from being able to wrestle his kunai out of his hand to having her arm bent behind her back and replacing the medic as his shield, who was now pinned to the ground under the boy's knee, face to the floor. He spoke in a very calm and very controlled voice, but in a foreign tongue. One no one could understand. The confusion was apparent on all Suna parties present, and the boy began to think for a moment. His pin on the medic lifted, allowing the medic to escape safely with a broken nose. As for the girl, he did another unexpected: he spun her around and brought his lips to her. At first the girl was shocked, then scared, then mad, then somewhat seduced. Was it a kiss? It did not seem like one. No tongue, no passion, but there was something. Like her brain was being linked somewhere; like something was looking at things she knew. When the boy broke off, be backed off a little, giving the girl some room, and spoke once again.
TABTAB "W-where... am I?"
TABTAB Aeden was his name. He would not give a family name, but he claimed to be from up north. When presented with Known World maps, he always shook his head; they did not show lands far enough north. He claimed to be from the 'Highlands'. A place where there were no shinobi, but barbarians. Where there was no chakra, but energies manipulated by primal sources such as the Sun or Earth. The girl saw paralells between this 'energy' and chakra, but did not deny the possibility that they were in fact difference fuel sources. He claimed to not remember what happened in between his living in the Highlands and waking up in Sunagakure. Energized and healthy, the girl could see Aeden as himself, rather than the broken wreck she found. His body was indeed average, but the way he walked, spoke... the way his eyes seemed to look through you. The way you could see the gears whichly spin in his mind. He carried himself with a great confidence that was both scary... and and a reason to be cautious of him. The semi-dress clothes, the maroon button-up shirt and black slacks that he wore under his coat, added to this effect: a sensable yet dangerous person.
TABTAB Jade, the girl, returned his background with her own. She was an Uchiha and was apart of a noble lineage that had its roots in Sunagakure. This was why there was such a clammar to keep her safe, and to do as she asked. She had dark skin, a tan Aeden had never seen before. She dressed in loose-fitting clothing, a white, sleeveless top and black pants. They looked similar to monk attire Aeden had fought against before. Her long, black hair was pin up in a pony tail that seemed to stretch to her waist, and her eyes were yellow and... if Aeden was a wolf, Jade was a cat.
TABTAB Over time, Aeden had given much to the people that took him in. While he was still being watched by skeptics, he fought for Sunagakure and healed the wounded; he was also a medical nin. He was able to manipulate the Lunar Energies, as he called them, and mend wounds on both himself and others. His appearance was fortunate, because it was only months before the Chunnin exams were to be held, and one of Suna's squads, ironically the one Jade was in, needed a third member and a medic would have been ideal. Aeden accepted the recruitment, as it was her that he trusted, if only a little.

TABTAB Within the Land of Fire and deep into the massive forests that covered said Land, the village of Konohagakure was in an uproar as a beast rampaged. It looked like something out of mythology, and a horror story. A giant beast formed from an evil chakra assaulted the village in a hopeless defense. It tood stories tall, and though the body of the beast could not be fully described with a single comparison, it did possess ten tails. A squad of gennin in particular fought for their home as beneath the beast, an army of humanoid demons assaulted the village.
TABTAB Saiyuri Mayu was a girl that was able to use chakra and her mind to manipulate objects around her. This combined with her intelligence and control of chakra itself formed a deadly combination. She took down foe after foe with percision and efficiancy and her opponents never saw a thing. Behind her, she heard rushed footfalls and spun just in time to see a demon explode behind her. Nakaya Shouta stood behind the fallen opponent, grinning.
TABTAB "Come on, Saiya. If you let them touch you, he'll get angry."
TABTAB Another demon appeared behind Nakaya, then was stabbed in the eye by a kunai flung by Saiyuri's ability. She gave a small smile. Her words echoed in his head, as this was the only way she could communicate vocally. You should worry about yourself, Nakaya.
TABTAB Nakaya watched as the demon fell, then gave a nervous laugh and scratched the back of his head. Saiyuri was not tall or short, but gave the deceptive appearance of being fragile; she was anything but. Her face seemed timeless with black, stringy hair that covered just above the bottom of her collar bone. Her light blue eyes against naturally dark eyelashes made for an alluring combination, especially since she hated make-up. Nakaya was a dark-skinned male with piercing red eyes and black hair that was both layered and somewhat spikey. A lenth of hair went down the right side of his face, down to his chin. On his left arm was the Shouta tattoo. He was toned and musular, though he was not built like an ox.
TABTAB Nakaya collected himself as he spotted another wave of demons approach himself Saiyuri. He also noted that the Tailed Beast seemed to be preoccupied with something he could not see just yet. "So, where's Dragon Boy?"
TABTAB As if on que, a group of demons flew in a wave, followed by a yell that could only be described as a fierce roar. Nakaya laughed. "Nevermind. Come on, got an idea." Saiyuri nodded. For being the kind of person nakaya was, when he used his mind and even then combined his brain power with Saiyuri's, no one could touch them.
TABTAB From the commotion and flying bodies, a blond boy stood, grinning from ear to ear. "Oi, oi, oi, oi, oi, oi! This the best ya got? Eh!? Come on!" Takashi Shishigami stood tall over a few fallen bodies of enemies he had just defeated. His hair mirrored Nakaya's somewhat, being layered and the hair being long enough to touch his chin. But Takashi looked average, with no particular feature of his body being eye catching, minus the horizontal scar on the bridge of his nose. His left eye was a dim yellow, the right orange. He wore fingless gloves with metal kuckles on them.
