Joshua hasn't really had an exciting life. Actually, until he moved to Beacon Hills with his Father, Mother and Sister it was most likely the definition of normal but making the jump across the pond is hard for any Brit and soon Joshua was having to adjust to life in quite a big town after spending most of his life in the quiet of Weighbridge in Surrey. America just seemed so much bigger in his eyes and being only 17, Joshua found in hard to adjust to the social and even the academic requirements that the States had.
These difficulties led to Josh pretty much flying under the radar for a year whilst his sister, Ella, excelled both in and out of school thanks to her phenomenal musical ability and general awesomeness; as her younger brother, Joshua began to get compared to Ella on a frequent basis and soon it became apparent that Josh was not his sister and would not go as far as she would. At the end of that school year, Ella was accepted into a prestigious Music college and moved away from Beacon Hills. This left Joshua on his own as the two of them were close and it was this that forced Josh to once again adapt but this time for the better. He vowed to be a more social animal, to show off his own talents and live somewhat up to his sister's reputation. Gaining more and more confidence in himself over the Summer break, Joshua surprised everyone one night when a support act failed to turn up to a gig. Using his new found confidence, Joshua took to the stage armed with nothing but an acoustic guitar and showed off his own musical prowess. Joshua's social status soon sky rocketed as he went from the "mysterious British student" to the all new "British singing sensation". Not allowing it to change him though, Joshua just took this new development and used it to help himself develop further until it eventually allowed him to become the person he is today.
With the motto: "Down but not out". It is easy to see that Josh is your typical cheeky chappy who is hard to bring down. He has a genuinely positive attitude towards most things, is kind and friendly and above all else confident in himself. Sometimes, this confidence can be mistaken for arrogance but after getting to know Josh, people find him quite pleasant to be around. Josh is also extremely talented when it comes to music, as his sister was, able to sing, write and play to a very high standard. What many people don't know however is that Joshua also likes a great deal more things than being a joker or a musician. He deals in some pretty cool other projects too that he keeps close to his chest, somewhat embarrassed by their sensitive nature.
So, even though Josh appears to be your average cocky, loud and talented 18 year old Brit; there is still a deeper, gentler side to him that not many people get to see that deals with things like art, poetry and photography. Whilst he loves these things privately, socially it is also known that Josh is very competitive at both video games and Football/Soccer.
