Water Bending Style
Unity and Destruction

History:
Unity and Destruction is a phrase used by its original creator, who sought out a way to be the "Avatar" in their own way. A waterbender at birth, the creator spent the first part of their life mastering water bending. Then, much like the Avatar, began to research and study other methods of bending with the other three elements; Earth, Fire, and Air. While doing so, they mastered the movements and styles that one would use while bending those elements.. However, had no power over those elements. As a substitute, water bending was mixed in with the style of element they were training with, thus giving them the capability of uniquely adjusting the pressure and current of water. This was the creation of Unity. Where one element would mix with the concept of another to create almost a Dual Bending method, without breaking the wall of bending another element. Stages throughout this bending style take on more advance methods of utilizing the concept of other elements with water bending. However, as one advances in this skill, more complicated and dangerous bending arts are created. Thus, the Destruction half of this art was created. What was once an attempt to bring unity, as the Avatar was meant to, gave birth to deadly bending arts that can have catastrophic results if used by the wrong individual.


Rules:
• To be able to learn this branch of water bending, one must be a master
• The flames of "Black Sun" can cancel out any bending attack if it has the same amount of Chi required, higher chi bending easily destroys the flames. However when the flames clash with a bending technique with the same amount of Chi, both are destroyed creating the "Cycle."



Stage 1:

Air: Weightless Raindrop: This ability came from researching Guru Laghima; of the Air Nomads, the person who unlocked the secrets to weightlessness. To mimic this ability, the bender will manipulate the very molecules of water in the air, or force water into the air to create said molecules if the air is dry. Manipulating these molecules, the bender will circulate them around their body, using their body itself as a tool to manipulate the water and lift them into the air. Thus, giving them the ability of flight. They may control the direction they go by simply leaning their body in a direction. This costs 10 Chi to activate, and an additional 5 Chi per post active.

Earth: Ground Water: By taking a strong, firm stance. The bender will first throw their hands to the ground, palms open. Following this, they will raise their arms slowly.. Forcing water that could lie beneath the earth's surface, or is within dampened earth. Doing this will bring large quantities of water up from the ground, so that the bender may use it for other purposes.

Fire: Scalding Essence: This comes from the ability to control the temperature of the water being manipulated. In a similar way that ice is created through water bending, the bender may manipulate the water to boiling temperatures that can cause 3rd degrees on the very contact of skin.

Water: Pressure Manipulation: [Passive]
As the bender has already mastered water bending, they may further enhance their direct water bending skills by gaining the ability to vastly increase the pressure of the water they're bending, or thin it out. When water pressure becomes denser, it strikes harder and is difficult to move in. It can also be used as a reinforced defense against oncoming assaults. If water is thinner, it may be used more rapidly and is very easy to guide, however, it becomes more like a splash of water instead of an actual impact.


Stage 2:

Air: ---

Earth: Inescapable Hell:
Taking a sturdy stance that belongs to earth bending, the bender will either generate ground water, or use water that is currently available on land and force it into the ground. Doing this will create at least a six foot deep sphere of mud around the area, which the user may bend freely by controlling the water within the earth. Any water bending technique can be used through this method to give it a harder impact, as well as a sticky hold so that if the target is engulfed in mud they can be rendered immobile. If anyone that isn't the bender of this style is stationary for more than one post, they will sink into the mud to a point that they themselves cannot escape without the aid of another or the bender freeing them.

Fire: Water Cycles:
Continuing with the ability of manipulating the temperature of water, the bender can now completely master the cycles of water and bend it within the states that it may be in. Where benders can freely manipulate ice and water, they now can also manipulate it within a steam or gas like state. All the same, they can both manipulate the different states of water as well as force it to become a different state.
