A little thought on "God" Today in class, a girl sneezed, anothe girl sitting near her said "God bless you." Well, I was in a bit of a bad mood and here's what I wound up writting down: There is no god. And if there were, what good would his blessings do? The "Almighty" sits atop his golden throne and laughs as he watches us squirm and wriggle in pain under hi thumb. Our screams never touching hi deaf ears. We suffer in this realm he's created. We are to love him for all that he's done for us. He's done nothing for us. Someone dies and it was their time to go to god, even if they leave behind spouse and children. Yet when someone thrives on life and succeeds, they were bribed by satan. While the man in the gutter prays, ever claiming that 'god will provide.' Mankind does not fear Satan or Hell, we are in hell. It is God we fear and God we bend our knee to. We are a disgusting race who deserve to squirm and wriggle under God's thumb like the worms we are!

	raises hand I don't fear Satan and/or Hell so do I still have to be included in the worms or do i get to break them in half and make two worms?

	I didn't say you feared Satan/Hell. I said mankind feared God...Cause we are in hell. So I'm sorry, but you are still part of the worm mass...Tough s**t...Better luck next time

	Hmm... Yea, we may be scum-of-the-earth, living-in-hell worms, but se la vi. You're right, there probably isn't a "God" or a "Budda" or an "Allah", but gods and such make people feel better about dying and living. They're all like imaginary friends for grown-ups, you know? I think the whole thing is kind of funny, personally... Let the people think/say what they want, it doesnt effect my opinion at all... Oh, about the "god bless you" thing-- Back in the middle ages when the black death was going arround, people took sneezing as a bad omen (when you were sick back then <sneezing and such> you were most likely screwed due to the lack of knowlage in the medicinal feild... wow, that almost sounded smart...) Anywho, people kind of figured you were screwed, had the black death and were going to die, so they said "god bless you" as if it'd throw a little good luck your way; get you into the "big man's" favor or something like that. We, being the un-changing race that we are, have kept the phrase... The End! smile
