Sometimes there is a reason for the madness that consumes people. However, probably most of the time there is no reason. This has nothing to do with this journal.
*Warning, Spoiler!!!! and mis-spelt x-men names!*
I saw X-men this week end and I need to voice my opinion. It was a semi-slightly okay movie. Now I do not remember the original cartoons but according to my sister I did watch the cartoon. Anyway....I was disappointed that Gambit was not in the movie. But I knew months ago that he was not going to be in it. Gambit (Remy) is my all time favorite x-men. (shut up!!).
I thought the whole sappy Wolverine:Jean thing was over done! I mean come on. Somehow that whole thing did not suit Wolverine. They did however ever so slightly hint at the love affair between Storm and Wolverine (If you were smart enough to catch that) which was okay.
I loved how they managed to kill Xavier! WHoo. That was awesome. For those of you who didn't catch the foreshadow earlier in the film, them killing Xavier must have pissed you off. However! They foreshadowed that he was going to return and that a different actor would play him. Watch the movie again for the scene where Xavier is teaching the psychic kids.
They also hinted that Bobby (iceman) and Rouge were going to 'go the distance' so to speak. Boy is she ever going to be pissed when she finds out her power will return. Mystique is going to be pissed too!!
I wish they had given Collosis a bigger role. I found it hilarious when he walks by bobby and is carring that huge T.V. with one hand. If you didn't notice they also took out his accent. >.<!
I'll think of more to rant about later. But for right now, I'm going to go....do some other stuff.
