I don't think the GCD is good at forgiving. I just think their single-track minded. No original opinions, and the inability to actually comprehend the future.
Ladies and gentlemen, I present an opposing opinion complete with a nasty attitude. This man is not from these parts.
No no, I'm always in the GCD. A regular here. Doesn't mean I can't tell that people don't notice what their saying.
I mean, come on... For example, People once thought that the new ghost sheets were gunna play this "amazing part" in the halloween plot.
Yes...
What exactly is your point? I really don't mean that in a rude way, I'm just trying to understand you. Like, your first post was fairly snarky, but your second post almost seems to agree with me.

Its because I can look at things in multiple ways. I debate a lot, so I've taught myself to listen to both sides deeply.
What I'm saying is that Most members of the GCD have this odd ability to make threads that others have already made. They express the same opinions as everyone else, and when people find these multiple threads, they are bashed because "I though of that idea first", even if the idea is unoriginal.
Since threads usually die after 3 pages, this shows that ideas from are quickly said, and that not many members can come up with a completely different idea. Word is spoken quickly.
Now for those select few that DO make a good thread, their threads are almost never "idea" threads. Idea threads: yell out a random "what if" situation. Threads that stick: usually have a discussion, or a history of gaia, such as The Grunny Empire, PTAG, and Glitchy. Heck, I even had a thread here where I collected 16k in Ghosties to give out on Halloween (even though someone quickly copied my idea and tried to out-do me). Instead of random ideas, they focus.
What I'm saying is that most threads in the GCD don't really talk about anything relevant to gaia. Although they have to do with gaia, its events, and items, they don't actually contribute to the community. Instead they are used to quickly express one's ideas at a shot of being original.
I don't think a group should be admired by how quickly they forgive. This seems ignorant or the fact that they are quick to judge. That ignorance is bliss. Bliss of the fact that whatever they say, they will have forgotten it by the end of the week.

The way I see it, the GCD doesn't forgive. They learn they were wrong, and move on to some other false accusation. They never actual "forgive" people; Mentally, nor verbally.
And yes, I agree no one takes what they say here seriously. I support that fully, whether that be agood or bad thing. could be bad because it shows that their thoughts are part-meaningless. That what they say is coming out of their mouth and not their head. It could be good though, that they don't bother to engage too much emotion onto an internet community. They care about what goes on, but not enough for the mind-created events to change their day.

ON Ignorance and creating discussions:

Now in the Ed, how long does it take you to create an argument? I find that the reason I never post there is because I feel like I have insufficient evidence to support my opinions, and thus I feel like that I would be wasting my time posting. Though I do feel strongly about many topics in the ED, I just dont have the confidence to post.
I don't create arguments, I create discussions. An argument starts out with a single supported idea. A discussion starts out with two supported ideas. The creator should be leaning towards either way. Otherwise the discussion isn't valid.
If I don't have evidence to support an idea, I must realize that my idea could be very wrong, and that I must be open to other ideas. Thats the key to not being ignorant.
My posts there don't engage a single idea, but instead, add onto others with some of my views.
