~Inner Being~

There's a being inside of me.
It's not me but someone else.
His figure is a mystery,
But his voice rings loud and clear.
He tells me things.
Both wonderful and not.
No matter what he says,
I want to listen.
And no matter what happens,
I will always be there.
For he is my inner being.
He lives in my heart,
And in my mind as well
And of all that this inner being is
There's one thing I love the most.
It's that he's always there,
And will never let me live alone.
The inner being isn't just inside,
He's part of all I say and do.
He's not just in me.
He's part of me too.
And the three words,
That I will always answer to,
Are three simple words.
"I" "love" and "you." heart
