Guardian's Legacy: The Tales of An Exile
Random stuff, RP Journal and whatnot. :3
Shining Force, and DBZ Budokai 3
xd

Thats right kiddies, old sega games and PS2 games. Well let me give you a little review of each one.

First off is a personal favorite, me being an RPG fan galore:

Shining Force is a tactical RPG starting in some weird kingdom called Guardiana. (Thats right, thats where I got the idea.) Apparently it begins, you playing the role of a swordsman character, basically you're training to become a knight and one day go out and fight evil. That basically all leads up to the king ordering you to lead a small band of troops to some weird place called the 'Ancient's Gate', whatever I'm down. The battle system is trippy, and quite tactical, but you do gain experience to level up your characters, but beware you don't get killed. Being the swordsman is pretty cool, but I'm rather fond of the mage Tao. Overall for a classic game this isn't too bad, its just kind of a pain in the butt to level up.

Polaris II gives Shining Force for the Sega Genesis, 7/10.

For those of you who are fans of the fighting genre, or the anime Dragon Ball Z, I suggest picking up a copy of Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3:

The game is pretty much like the show now, what with the new teleport, pursue and backdash powers, oh and you can't forget the multiple ki blasts. Dragon Universe Mode is well done, with characters that you can level up however your twisted desires please. My personal favorite is Trunks, its about time that sword was used for something other than finishing moves. And do you remember the physical and continuous skills? Well their out the window. Theres another skill type called item skills, basically you can use them once per battle, and they do a lot of funky s**t. Its a pretty nice game for those of you who like fighting, or for those who just love DBZ, what with all the dialogue and voices from the actual show.

Polaris II gives Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3 for the PS 2: 9/10.

OMG!i thought me and my younger bro were the only 2 people who play shining force!but we have it for the computer . it came in this really cool disc "sega smash pack 2" and had a collection of other games too. mt favorite characture is tao and i like leveling up her blaze attack the most.its so coo with the fire and how it attacks multiple enemies. the game is so basic yet so addictive,i never got far enough to defeat the game.i always start a new one after the 3rd chapter.

i own the other dbz budokai games but havent earned enough for the 3rd. i like them alot and also play dragonball z ultimate battle22, and dragonball gt final bout.they are pretty entertaining for dbz games that came out before 1998.video games and rpg's are fun!

You've got to be kidding. Shining Force is one of the greatest classic RPGs of all time.
