It's raining tonight.. I hate it when it rains in the middle of the night. Not because of the minor flooding on the street corner of where I live, nor because it usually comes with lightning.. Nor is it because we might lose power. I hate it because it depresses me tremendously.. Each and every time.. sweatdrop The reason for this is because downtwon there's a pretty large number of homeless people living there with no shelter or anyone willing to lend a hand. It IS Miami, after all.. Everyone here fends for themselves.. It depresses me to think these people have nowhere to go to espace the cold rain and the chilling winds that come with it. Thinking about all this brings up a lot more thoughts to my mind.. Like in Thanksgiving, or when we hit winter.. And we get a lot of cold waves where the temp. goes as low as 45 F [keep in mind that this is Miami. Coldset it gets here normally is around 70-66 F] and those people are out there sleeping on the street.. It drains me to think about this.. Each and every time. Sometimes I feel like I worry way too much about things.. But we often forget how lucky we all are. No matter how much you might b***h about your parents and related crap, at least they provide you with a roof over your head. Sometimes when it rains throughout the night, I find it extremely difficult to sleep. Though when I DO fall asleep.. It's always restless sleep. I think that I care too much, but it's all part of who I am. I can't change that. sweatdrop
