I was at a pumpkin patch when I spotted the perfect pumpkin. It was big, round, and bright orange, just right for carving. Gleefully I leaned down to pick it up, but as I pulled it wouldn't budge. I tried pulling harder only to be thrown forward as the pumpkin pulled back. Lying uncomfortably among the pumpkins I looked up frightfully at the towering figure of the Pumpkin King. It seems I had the unfortunate luck to have woken him from his rest. Needless to say he was not happy that I had tried to pilfer his pumpkin head. What ensued was a battle of epic proportions. I only escaped from having my skull turned into a Jack-O-Lantern through the strategic use of a carving knife and a pie pan. Apparently the Pumpkin King is deathly afraid of pumpkin pie.
