Today, I went bowling.
With my friends from Gothenburg and here from Kalmar.
But before THAT happened, I've had one hell of a day.
Firstly, I nearly missed my train due to the guy who sell tickets.
Then I met a guy on the train and we had a quite nice chat untill he mentioned "all these teenagers on autumn break running around without bus cards"...
Since I'm one of "those" the conversation turned into an akward silence.
I arrived at the station at 11 (a.m) and thought that since we weren't going to meet until 12 I could go to the library, so I did.
There I met my English teacher, t'was rather nice.
Then I got a sms from one of my friends saying that we were going to meet at 11:30 at the bowling hall. The time was then 11:17 aaaand the bowling hall was... about 1-2 kilometer away. Greeeeaaaat... stare
So, I ran/walked that distance in 12 minutes and was there exactly on time.
They weren't.
Outside the bowling hall stood the guy I had been talking with on the train reading a news paper. I said hi and nothing more happened there.
My friends were now 10 minutes late so I called them to ask where the heck they were and they said that it would take 5 more minutes before they were there.
Wonderful. All that running for nothing. rolleyes
When they finally arrived I got to know one of them had overslept and had been ready to go 1 minute before the bus left, he wasn't to blame for their late arrival but still...
Then we waited for 3 other guys who just. Didn't. Come. We called to ask where the hell they were and they choose that exact moment to arrive.
Of course.
Then we went into the bowling hall just to get to know there had been a misunderstanding with the places (I can't remember the name of it) we had booked to play on. We had one place instead of 3. We were 9 persons.
Sooo as an apology they offered us to play for free either at 17:00 this evening or tomorrow at 12:00. I couldn't tomorrow since I have to play babysitter, oh joy, for 10 kids... My little sister's having a party and neither mum nor dad can be at home.
So we chose the evening.
Now, what were we going to do for 4 hours?
Well, firstly we took a bus back to the station and then we went to a mall...
Where I met my friend!
That was unexpected but very fun.
We chatted for a while before my friends came with the brilliant idea that we could go home to one of our friend's grandmother's house!
We ran to a bus (which in turn nearly got one of my friends and me run over by another bus...) and who sat on THAT bus if not... My friend's grandmother!
Talk about timing.
So we (we were only 6 at that time because 3 others had decided to go somewhere else) got invited home to her where we watched TV, a program about monkeys, for a while before we decided to watch a move... For 3 hours...
But we got cookies and tea from the guy's grandmother! ^^
And now I want some tea... ninja
Then, at 16:30, we decided we needed to start moving if we were supposed to get anywhere. So we said goodbye and left.
Well, 5 of us did. The guy who was with his grandmother took some extra time...
About 10 minutes...
So we started to walk-run thingy and one guy was nearly run over by a car...
Seriously!
He looked both ways for cars and suddely, bang! One car whoosed past him honking the horn loudly at him.
He was sooo close to have been hit.
After that, we were hindered by a train.
4 of my friends ran while the road was still open while he who was nearly hit and I stayed on the other side irritating our friends to no end.
The train eventually came and then there was such a line of cars on both sides waiting to drive so that took some time just to get to the other side of the road.
We arrived on time though, which is more than you can say about the other 3 guys who weren't with us.
They were 15 minutes late so we had already started playing by the time they got there.
The bowling shoes were strange...
I have size 38 in shoes (Swedish sizes, 'kay?) and in the bowling shoes size 36 were almost to big!
So, we started bowling and it was quite obvious from the beginning that the guy on our team (who nearly got hit by the car) was going to win.
Me and my other friend had something about 160-170 in points when we ended the game while he had about 300 points!
Then when the game ended the clock was 18:00 and I realizes my bus leaves the station at 18:25.
Wonderful!
So, I hugged everyone goodbye and ran out.
When I had come about halfway I saw a bus coming up behind me and ran to the nearest bus station where the bus, luckily, stopped. (Remember when I said it was about 1-2 kilometers to the bus station?)
I asked when it would arrive to the station the driver said: "Well about 18:22."
Great, I thought, so I won't have to stress then.
Turned out I had to run anyway. stare
But I caught my bus and arrived at the station at home at 19:10 with a killing headache and THIRSTYYYYYY!!
Aaand now I'm here.
My day have been eventful enough for the whole week if you ask me... whee
heart
