The old bank balance suffered a near-crippling blow today. £43 on two Kiddy Grade DVDs and book 2 of Love Hina. Waste of money? Maybe, maybe not. Suffice to say, it knocked my funds down to the level they used to be before I started saving for uni. A reasonable amount, but not enough to live on if I carry on the way I'm going.
Luckily, my university gives Channel Islands students £250 around Christmas for free, to help with trips home and such. My flight home cost just over £60. Hah! I win!
The other good news today was the arrival of Chobits 3 and 4. I've been waiting for over a week for the damn things to come. From within the UK. Which frankly isn't on. I'd have read them by now if my friends weren't around getting drunk and talking to me.
We're also supposed to be going to the pub for a quiz soon, so I guess I'd better wrap this one up! I'll be sure to actually watch Perfect Blue tomorrow, and give y'all my thoughts on it.
