...Well, tomorrow actually. I'm feeling suprisingly apprehensive about leaving Southampton. It's interesting how I seem to have become used to this room already...
I really regret booking my flight home for such a late date. I could have come back on Saturday. But, being the dope I am, I wasn't quite sure when this term ended, so I decided to give myself a few days just in case, to do my laundry and such. Baka. wink
This past week has been quite boring. Most of my friends over here live in England already, so they've all been disappearing one by one. Bastards and their cars... ^_^ The only thing to report lately is that I've decided to name my laptop Nova, after the villain of Magic Knight Rayearth. Because lately, like Nova herself, my laptop has known everything about my life, since I use it every day now, and often post about my life in this journal. Trust me, if you know Rayearth it makes a lot more sense
Today's been pretty dull too, yet a bit frantic at the same time. I have no work to do at the moment, and there are only two of us left in the flat (not so bad though, because the loud rap/R&B/whatever the hell it is is gone, and the place is nice and quiet. Except for MY music! sweatdrop
I spent the morning doing some last-minute ironing and laundry (I've been without clean jumpers for about a week, and I've resorted to wearing my coat indoors since my heater stopped working!); and most of the afternoon has been spent chatting with the only person left in the flat (who's leaving in a few hours, leaving me all by myself!). I actually haven't sat down and just talked with someone for a while, it makes me feel nice and relaxed, and I must endeavour to do it more often!
Anyways, after that I finally started packing. That's right, I left it till the last minute! sweatdrop My bag is bulgy and quite heavy. it's a good job I'm leaving most of my DVDs and manga here! All I'm brin ging back are the DVDs in my CD case, as well as Pirates Of the Caribbean (my parents haven't seen it yet), Versus, X, and the Rayearth OVA, as well as the copy of Ghost In The Shell that my brother got me for my birthday, because I need to return it (since I have it already, like everyone else!)
I set off to reach Southampton Central Station by 3pm, to ensure that I've got plenty of time to spare before my flight home, at 5:15. I'm not quite sure what happens when I get home! I'm guessing that my ironing efforts will be wasted by the time I get my bag open, so Mumsy will have to iron a few things I guess. One of the first things I'll do for sure though, is phone my dear GuruLazer and have a nice long chat, maybe organize some activity for Thursday so I can see her again and put all my new-found mushiness to good use!
I probably won't be online very often for the next few weeks, since the PC at home is in the living room and my parents often complain about the noise, but also because i've been without PlayStation 2 games for 12 weeks. I'm gonna play my a** off! rolleyes
So if we don't meet again, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! blaugh
