Shattered glance,
Broken words,
Painful sigh.
Hold this thought,
For I'm not lost.
Be straight forth,
Hidden meanings.
Tattered hearts,
Entwined in a love,
That may not last.
Take that chance,
The fortune cookie says.
Hold back your heart,
Pursue a nomad.
To triumph over tragedy,
Yet tragedy triumphed over me.
Your pointless yammering set me free.
Sinful thoughts,
Pointless grief,
Let it go,
Leave it be.
Find another,
Sweet as can be.
But this one,
Holds back from me.
