(well thats right finaly number five, after this one because i love you all so much lol i have found the pics for all the characters, yes thats right pictures to go with the name and discriptions ^_^ i hope you all enjoy reading this one as much as i did writing it)

Chapter 5:

Part 1: the misty moution

The team slowly made there way to the base of the moution, as they ventured forward you could see a thick coat of mist covered them

"man i cant even seen my beautiful hands..." Kalimari sighed "i hate mist and fog...." he mumbled under his breath

"well...looks like we may have to stay here for a while then, the footing on this moutions ridges are very fine and slippery due to the cold tempratures, the water condences in to water quickly and freezes on the ground" Mae sighed

"wow Mae your really knowlageable!" Mansino said suprised

"thanks...i did alot of studying on the places that my mentor maped out" Mae explained

"sure you didnt just steal some books from the people you provided your services to?" Kalimari sneekered, every one glared at him and sighed,

Mae's face grew alittle read "grr....." she slaped him so hard he flew in to the side of the moution

"ow..." Kalimari mummbled as he stood up rubbing both cheeks

"but in any case we have to stay here..its only mid day to" Belanishi sighed "...this is going to greatly affect are journeying time" she said shaking her head

"yeah...might as well start setting up camp right? it dosnt look like its going to be breaking any time soon" Lansino sighed

Dustin noded, he was looking at the strange looking rocks around "what kind of rocks are these" he asked picking one up

"there not rocks, there hardened volosorite dropping" Mae said comming over and studying it

Dustin quickly droped it and wiped his hands on the ground "discusting!" he shouted out with a freaked out look on his face

"its facanating....volosorites were said to be extinct five houndrad years ago....but there dropings turn in to dust after 5 years so these are quite new!" Mae had an excited look on her face "i must find them at once and study them!" he said jumping to her feet

"some other time..." Belanishi sighed "these regions are dangerous to go out alone...and besides the mist is still very thick, you might get lost" she sighed

"yes i sopose your right...." Mae sighed sitting down again "i guess they can wait a while longer...." he sighed again "but its exciting to know there still alive...it was said they were over hunted due to there light but very durable skin, they are ruffly the same size of a human so it didnt take much skill to make there skin in to armour" Mae sighed "and i wanted to study one right now...."

Mansino smiled "maybe we can go and find one to gether later" he smiled

"yeah!"Mae smiled as well glad some one was as enthusastic about finding one as well even though she knew he didnt know much about them and there agressive nature

"so he's going with her...damn what am i going to do..." kalimari sighed and sat down

Dustin started a fire with two rocks due to the fact he was very good at doing it, it wasnt long before they had a small fire going, it wasnt relatively cold at the base but they needed it to cook there food,

Lansino put on a couple pieces of mutton

Jensay and Sheena both sighed at the same time and said "roast mutton again? dont we have any thing else" at the same time

"sorry Mr. and Mrs. love bird but we dont have much left" Lansino joked

both Sheena's and Jensays face grew alittle read, but Sheen yelled out "were not lovers damn you!" she said it with a bit of embarssment and sat down away from the fire

"geez i was only kidding...the way she acted you would think she acctualy did" Lansino and Mansino laughed

Jensay sighed as he sat down now as well, they waited for what seemed to be days but was only an hour

"i dont think this mist is going to clear...if it was it would have done so already" Mae said letting out a quite sigh

"yeah i agree...we should ventured forward, dangerous or not, those who wish not to come this time can wait here" Belanishi told them

every one but Kalimari steped forward on there own, Kalimari stood back for a moment contomplating weather or not to go, but agenst his better judgement witch seemed to always keep him out of trouble, he decied to step forward and go

"the party wouldnt be the same with out me" Kalimari smiled and he lightly chuckled

"now the only problem is the mist...." Belanishi sighed again

"well i can try lighting a torch, it might not help much but it may do us some good at least...." Dustin suggested

"well some is better then none, make three, one for the head of the group, one for the middle and one for the back

"ill go in the back.." Kalimari said at once, he wanted to hold a torch, also if there was any trouble in the front he would make it down to the base faster

"fine, Jensay, you take the middle and Mae you take the front" Belanishi told them, they all noded in agreement as they began there slow steady steps up the thin slipery path.


Part2: path of the forsaken

it was dark, cold and slipery, not to mention annoying with the dampness in the air, the mist had not given up its surrounding of the group, even at the cold tempratures they couldnt barly see any thing, although it had gotten alittle better so they didnt need the torches, althought he torches had gone out just as the mist had started to disapate alittle witch was good, the wind was very strong, several times they had to help one of there group members from falling off the path to there death's

"damn....is there no leadge around here?" Lansino cried out to the others as the wind picked up

"whats wrong Lansino? complaing before Kalimari? thats a first" Jensay chuckled happly, the wind didnt affect Dustin and Jensay or Sheena for they with there sensay underwent extencive pyhsical endurance to help them sheild them selves from such powerful storms weather conditions

"i..i...its f..freezing up here..." Belanishi said shivering,

Dustin took out one of his blankets and put it around her "your welcome" he smiled knowing she wasnt acctualy going to thank him

"wh...what ever.." Belanishi said shivering but feeling a bit warmer

Jensay who was now in the front of the group seen a leadge up ahead, there was also what seemed to be a dry warm cave sheltered from the wind "hey i see a cave up ahead" he called out

Kalimari pushed him self up agenst the wall and sliped by every one and quickly dived in to the cave, he sat down on the dry ground hugging him self tightly letting the warmth comin from deep with in the cave cover his body

Mae was the next as every one else made there way to the cave

"so what are we going to do next? there might not be another cave like this for hours" Mansino said after he and every one became warm again

"well me, Jensay and Dustin can go and check out ahead, after all the three of us can stand extreamly cold and hot tempratures" Sheena smiled

"yeah" Dustin said as he stood up off the ground

"ok lets go then " Jensay smiled as he started to grab his things off the ground

"wait wait wait! this moution is known for its powerful monsters, are you three sure you can be safe out there?" Mae asked standing up alittle worried about them

"dont worry the three of us can take on a few measly monster" Sheena boasted

"yes dont worry, no monster can stand agenst us" Jensay said cheerfuly

"well there's no harm in over preparing for the worst" Dustin said as he grabed a few herbs that would help heal most common wounds, he also grabed one that would help with frost bite

"what ever, lets just get going" Jensay said

"you three better be careful and make sure you dont get your selves killed!" Lansino cried out to them

"if they die, there there's no way were going to finish this journey after all Sheena hasnt gotten her jewel and she's the only one that can use it" Kalimari sighed "so if they die were all dead"

Belanishi sighed quietly "be careful you three...".

The three of them walked the cold ice covered path, the wind and snow blew agenst there face, no matter what direction they looked the wind blew in there face

"ugh! curse this stupid damn moution!" Sheena said shielding her face with her forarm

"i wounder how much farther this dam cave is...we've already bin walking for" Jensay stoped talking for a moment "wait, how long have we bin walking for" he asked Dustin and Sheena having lost track of time

"a long time" Dustin chuckled covering his face as Jensay and Sheena did

"damn we've bin walking so long we lost track of time....maybe we should just-" Sheena was cut off by a gian ice boulder falling just before her feet, she looked up spoting a large ice covered figure picking up another boulder "what the hell!?" he cried out leaping over the gap as did Dustin and Jensay

"come lets hurry before more of the path gets destroyed and it gets unstablaized" Dustin cried to them

they raced up the path, many boulder came down but almost none hit the path, the ones that did from there on mearly cliped, it was as thought he monsters that threw the boulders couldnt see very well and just threw at random. They finaly rached the top, a large giant of pure ice stood before them

"wh-what the hell!" Jensay cried out

"ill take care of this" Dustin said as he pulled out his swords and charged at the giant, he stoped a few feet away and foced forming a wall of flames under the giant, the flames were quickly put out by the icy cold winds, it was oviousl he didn almost no if not any damage "what the?" Dustin said as he leaped back abit

"i dought very much if my power would do much good here ether" Jensay sighed

"looks like we'll have to take it down with brute force" Sheena said almost angeryly some thing was with her, she never seemed this eger or frustrated before, she made a quick dash at the giant cuting at its legs, her blade only made small indents in to the thick ice body of the giant

"look out!" Jensay cried out as he ran over pushing Sheena out of the way of a smashing fist,

Dustin made a snow ball and threw it at Jensay knocking him out of the way as well "what an idiot" he sighed

the two of them came back over to Dustin, the giant seemed unmoving

"how can we expect to beat that thing!" Jensay said worried

"it doesnt seem to have any weaknesses does it...." Dustin said almost a mumble thinking "wait....look at its foot!" Dustin cried out seeing its foot had cracked from where it had punched its self " all we have to do its make it attack its self more" Dustin said as he lunged at the giant, he leaped up on to its foot, the giant made a responce attacking its own foot again breaking most of it off now, Dustin then made a large leap plunging his twin blades in to the giants chest, it didnt almost no damage but the blades were deep in side its body, the giant then attempted to hit Dustin but he pulled his blades out fast enough to evade the punch, the giant cracped its body

"ah i get it" Sheena said as he leaped on to its other leg as Jensay leaped on to the same leg climbing up its featur covered body using two small daggers he had, the giant punched at Sheena who leaped up on to its arm as it punched and craked off most of its foot, he ran up the sliperly arm as he jumped on to its face

Dustin was on its shoulder and leaped on it's head, Jensay as now leaped up on to its face thrusting the two daggers in to both its eyes, Sheena now to was on its head, like clockwork the botht e fits came up and puched the head, Dustin, Sheena and Jensay leaped off landing in the soft snow as the giant's body crumbled to pieces and fall off the moution top

"phew that got the blood pumping" Sheena said

"hey you guys look theres a cave!" Jensay called out pointing to a large cave opening, the last bit of a sliding door could be seen going in "it must have opend when we got that giant to kill its self" Jensay pointed out

"thank you mister ovious, Dustin mind going to get the others to get here so we can get this over with...this place makes me feel unsettled" Sheena barked at them

Jensay's face droped as he sat down in the icy cave's entrence

Dustin sighed "maybe you shouldnt be so mean to Jensay, after all he did save your life

Sheena sighed "yeah i know...." she sat down with him and forced up a smile "thanks Jensay"

"it was no problem" he lightly blushed

"ahh young love" Dustin said quietly and chuckled as he moved out to get the others.
Part 3: the cave of insanity

After every one was at the large cave entrence Mae began to look around intentavly

"amazing! this cave entrence door was linked to the ice giants life, it appers you had no other choise but to fight the giant" Mae said as she continued to look around "hmm...i dont reconize this laungage" she said looking blankly at the a sign on a wall just in side the cave

"its braille again, like it was in the first castle" Jensay said as he felt the braille letting "sound's like wind, that breaks the mind all those who lie....the rest is to worn out to read" Jensay sighed slightly

"well, Kalimari cant go, he's lied far to many times" Dustin grined

"hey hey hey, we dont know it means that for the ones that like have to stay here...after all its to worn out right?" Kalimari asked not wanting to stay out in the cold when a fierce monster could attack him at any time

"true...but i guess i cant go ether" Mae sighed "i've lied plenty of times" she said shamefuly

this is where Kalimari felt he should say some thing about her past job experince but some thing told him to just keep quite

"so its settled then, Kalimari and Mae will wait here, while the rest of us go to help Sheena retreve her jewel" Belanishi said, every one noded in agreement

"now dont you to do anything i wouldnt do" Lansino laughed as did Mansino who stood beside him

Mae and Kalimari glared at the two of them as they walked off.

As the others ventrued in to the cave the could hear faint wisperings

"are those the sounds of the cave that tend to drive people insane?" Dustin asked

"yeah...but i've bin woundering this for some time, if it drives every one insane, how did are ancestors place them here, they must have had a way of fighting off the sounds" Belanishi said almost lost in thought poundering about it

"yeah, maybe its built in to are genetic code, so were immune to the sounds" Jensay suggested

"or perhapse the voices were some how intructed to leave us alone" Lansino said

"well what ever the case, lets just be glad were not gone insane, then agian how would we know if we've gone insane or not, after all if were insane we cant tell that can we" Dustin smiled

"true, but if we were insane, you wouldnt be trying to confuse us with mindless blaber" Mansino laughed

"true enough" Jensay grined as did lansino and Belanishi

Sheena was staying quite, the voices seemed to be louder in her mind then they did in the others, it could perhapse just be her imaganation but it seemed real enough to her "can you four keep it down back there..im trying to figure out witch way to go" she said in an irrtable voice

"soooorry" Dustin sighed "so witch way your highness" Dustin rolled his eyes

Sheena made a quick glare at Dustin "...left" she was now following the voices in her head witch were telling her all the same way, it was thousands of voices but the voices spoke only as one

every one looked suprise, but none more then Jensay, he knew her better then any of the others did and yet he had never seen her act this way

Jensay hurried and walked beside Sheena "Sheena, is something wrong? your acting strange" Jensay told her as he looked at her worriedly

"no every thing is fine, just want to hurry up and find my jewel so we can get the hell out of here" Sheena said angerly

"uhh...alright..." Jensay said as he looked down "sorry to bug you then..." he slowed down his pase

Sheena though to her self ~what the hell is wrong with me? he was only try to be nice and i found my self being mean to him...~ she couldnt explain what was going on but decided it was just the creepyness of the cave and it would be over when the left

Soon they all came apon a large room, in the middle a bright light shined down on to a coffen carved from ice

Belanishi slowly made her way to the coffen and began to read the english scripture carved on to the face of the coffen "thee who hold's that witch can rage and calm open me and set me free for celen's tear" Belanishi looked at the coffen quiztly "its another riddle" she murmmerd to her self

" what does it mean by 'that witch can rage and calm'?" Sheena asked as she moved around the coffen slowly

"i dont know..." Dustin said with a sigh "any idea's Jensay-master riddler" he chuckled

"hmm....afraid not" Jensay sighed

"me and Lansino cant think of any thing ether....to bad Mae's not here, sure she could figure it out" Mansino sighed

"yeah....any one got some water? im getting thirsty..." Dustin sighed

"water....THAT'S IT WATER!" Jenay cried out " water-or rather the sea can rage in a storm or be compeltly calm" Jensay smiled

"nice going" Lansino said smiling and patted him on the back

"then open it" Sheena said in a hurring type voice

"alright" Jensay got in to a readying position and began to push the lid for the coffin off, it slowly inched off the top, after it was removed nothing was in the coffin

"what the..." Sheena said her voice trailing off, suddenly a bright blue light shot out of the coffin knocking every one off there feet on to the icy path, the light got thinner and thinner untill all that was left was a small beam that went through where the bit of light shined through, a shining purplish stone began to slowly decend from the light and slowly fell in to the coffin

"hahaha look there it is" Dustin smiled happly "now we can finaly get the hell out of this freezing cold place"

"yeah" Sheena said as she picked the jewel up "and it doesnt look like there are any more monsters around...." Sheena said with a small sigh, the voice's in her head slowly began to dissaper, it appered that the jewel protected her mind from the voices witch were possibly those that had died here

the group could barly follow there foot steps in the icy path and barly found there way out but they had, Kalimari and Mae were sat down just inside the cave, they seemed to have gotten along well and were even laughing with each other

"i see you to had a good time" Lansino grined

"yeah i guess, you guys get it?" Mae asked

Sheena had a small smile "yeah, thanks Jensay, we wouldnt have bin able to get it with out you"

"heh thanks" Jensay smiled alittle as well as they all began make there way down the icy path, for some reason it wasnt as cold as it was before, most likely due to the fact that Sheena had gottent e jewel witch held power over this moution causing it to be very cold and dangerous.

part 4:
escape from the army

The team was laughing as the steped down on of the path

"ahhhh finaly! were off that damn moution!!!" Kalimari said as he smild brightly

"yeah its about time" Dustin said as he walked over to a rock and sat down

"hmm...." Mae got down on her knees and looked at the ground

"what is it?" Sheena asked as she walked over

"these tracks.....the earth...it looks like there were thousands of people walking past here sence we left and just got back...." Mae said quietly

"well isnt it possible that a caravan or some thing came by?" Belanishi said, she thought many people went past here

"no, almost no body gose by here..." the sound of a arrow flying through the air rushed passed Mae's head

when they turned around a circle of demons were around them

"what the hell!!!" Dustin yelled out, the mist was hiding them for they some how could control where it was

a single demon steped from out of the large demonic crowed "my name is Brook Kazaka....i am the genral of the demonic empire...you are here by judge and convicted on the charge of trying to save the humans, any pleas of innocent will be ignored, you are here by senctenced to death by the hands of my army" Brook said, Brook was a large person, he had large black feathered wings out of his back, his horns went up and then sharply turned forward, they seemed to be made of out of steel, he wore red guntlets with metal studdes coming out of them, he appered to have no weapon but from the looks of his mussles he didnt need one, he had short black hair that looked like it wasnt brushed in years

"oh yeah? well we'll see who will be doing the dying here!" Mansino said trying to act brave even though he as scared almost to death

"ye-yeah!" Kalimari said as he drew his sword, as did Dustin, every one else soon followed pulling out there weapons, the arches that were in the front steped back allowing the demons with melee weapons to fight now, the battle was fierce, the group took down many of the demons but soon they were getting weary and there were still thousands of demons

"c...come on every one we have to fight harder...AH!" Jensay said as he sumbled back from being slashed in the arm from a demon

just as the group were about to be killed the sound of two people yelling could be heard as the demons seemed to leave them alone and go after these two humans but it appered most of the demons couldnt handle one of them, for one of the humans leaped over all the demons over to every one

"you guys alright" a familer voice asked

"huh...wait..i know that voice....Henshi!?" Jensay called out as he looked wide eyed

"thats me" Henshi grined "the queen knew about this attack and sent me and Jaken to help you guys, dont worry about us though we can take care of them" Henshi gave them all bottles full of a blue liqud "drink that and hurry along, were not sure how long we can distract them" Henshi said "now go!" he cried as he leaped over the demons again and started to help Jaken slay the demons

"you think were going to live?" Jaken asked his brother

"heh...probly not..." Henshi smiled

"yeah...it will be a pleasure to die along side of you though my brother" Jaken smiled

"the pleasure will be mine" Henshi replied.

The team hurried and drank the potion, there wounds were healed and they were filled with a numbing energy, they felt as though they were light as air

"lets go you guys, you heard Henshi they can take care of this" Belanishi said as she began to run as fast as she could, the others followed

"lets just hope the next place doesnt have any 'suprises' like this!" Dustin yelled.
