*drum roll* it is finaly done! after much pain taking (not really) reserch and desisons i finaly finished chapter 7 and i hope you all like it.

Chapter 7
part1:
assesing the danger

The team stoped now almost a day away from where the most likely still large army of demons were

Mae bent over grabing her bluckled knee's breathing deeply and heavly "you think there ok" Mae asked refering to Jaken and Henshin

"...i dought it" belanishi said quietly

"what? cant you be alittle opptimistic for once" Dustin said angerly

"Dustin...do you really think two people no matter how strong could kill an entire army of demons no to mention one of the most powerful demons out side of the shadow leage" Belanishi replied in a quite voice

"but....but still..." Dustin sighed knowing she was right

"we should get moving if we dont want to whats left of the army and genral Brook to find us" Kalimari told them trying to change the subject

"yeah Kalimari's right" Lansino said

"yeah...we have to go after Mae's jewel first though" Belanishi told them

"what? why?" Mansino asked

"because its the only way to nulify the powers of the dark jewel that make Yue so powerful, if we can do that we will serverly deplenish his attack and speed" Belanishi explained to them

"i see.....well we should get moving then shouldnt we?" Sheena said

"wait just a minute....the light jewel is on the dark realm....." Mae said

"so? whats your point?" Dustin asked

"my point is.....ITS GOING TO BE FILLED WITH DEMONS!" Mae yelled

"no thats not true" Belanishi told her "that army was made up of soliders as well as scouts and guards, most of the outer part of the dark realm will be unguarded, and the cave is not to far from the boarder, or so i was told" Belanishi said.

"its not....i guess we could take care of a few demons...." Mae sighed

"alright lets get going now then, no time to didle dadle" Kalimari laughed as they headed out.
Part 2: The Labrinth of Light

A the team drew closer and closer to the dark realm they could see less and less sunlight and more and more darkness that lived in its crule shadow, it was as though a enternal night had fallen over the dark lifeless are where no trees dared to grow to be feed on or stomped on by what evils lived there.

"This is where the first of the monsters started to apper, they use to be humans and animals but the darkness changed them in to the foul creatures we see here today" Mae told them sadly.

They then reached the border that devided the light and the dark, a long white line that seemed to go all away around the the world and back layed before them

"The light and darkness jewel keep the sun from shiniing in this area, as long as those jewels exsist thats how it will be" Belanishi told them "the darkness prevents the dark realm from being destroied completly but letting night here" she added.

To make sure there were no gaurds around they looked around the rocks and couldnt see any one they then made there way in to the shadow realm.

The ream effortlessly made there way in to a small cave that wasnt very far form the border, they could almost see it from across if not for a few rocks in the way, they now stood on a small platform above that seemed to be a maze but strangely enough it looked like some one had torn it in half leaving a large path way

"these seems to easy" Jensay said being quite for the most part

"yeah....every one get your weapons ready...this may be a trap...." Belanishi said.

Every one took out there weapons holding them readly as they inched closer to a small pedistal that sat at the far end of the long path way, they inched closer and closer but nothing happend, as they made there way the looked down the path ways, each leading in to more dark tunnels, finaly they reached the pedistal

"k.....im going to take it" Mae said as she slowly moved her hand just above the the jewel of light that layed dull and dark, she quickly snached it quickly, nothing seemed to happen

suddenly a loud shaking sound filled the room as the two parts of the maze slowly began to move together

"every one run!" Dustin yelled as they all made a dash for the entrence, the closer they got though the faster the maze walls moved together, by the time the team had gotten to the front of the maze it was already locked together, Lansino, Jensay, and Dustin tried to pull it back apart but it was to heavy as well as tightly locked together

"we wont beable to break through it....the light jewel creates a powerful energy shield around it..." Mae said with a sigh

"right.....then we'll just have to go through the maze then wont we?" Kalimari said as they began walk, seeing it was dark, Lansino went and grabed a unlite torch off the wall having Belanishi strike it with lightning it lite and they were now on there way looking through the darkness of the maze.

As the team progressed they spoted some thing ahead, when they went to check, it was gone, but there were pieces of papers scattered on the ground, most of which written in a language even Mae couldnt read, but there were two written in english, the first paper read as followed:

"Dear Queen hilda,

we have found your jewel of light, we have taken it with us but the maze has unforuently traped us in one of its many traps, we are pinned down by what seems to be crotons, they hide behind every corrner, we have lost two men already witch leaves me, my son and Jaken, we sent Jaken ahead fo find a way out but we fear he to was taken by the relentless demons,oh if only we had more money to hire more guards...but no matter my son Hicoay is very well trained in the way of the sword, he should at least beable to fight them off long enough to get us out of here.

the next letter read

"Dear...who ever finds this

to who ever finds this...follow the arrows of white..they lead the way out, Jaken couldnt come back for us but he yelled to us when he found the exit, he told us he made white arrows with his chalk pointing the way out....but my father...he was taken by the demon only a while ago...i still greve hearing his screams as the demons dragged him away...i managed to strike one of them but there skin must be made of ebony or some thing like that...perhapse its one of the aspects of crotons....there anommany is still a mystery sence only 7 have bin killed in all of history by the worriors of light and there magicly infused weapons while mine is a mear silver sword, true silver does them hard this i have proven, but my sword is still not strong enough to fight the 14 crotons that hide in this resentful maze witch mocks me....i should go now before i am f-" the top of the 'f ' was draged to the bottom of the paper as though the writer had bin draged off in the mits of writing the letter

Mae looked over the letter again and again "this is not good....crotons...or rather flesh demons....there all immortal....are asendents only wounded and drove back the demons...they never acctualy kiled them...there are only 50 known crotons in all the world...they are ruthless fighters and will stop at nothing to kill..." Mae sighed "there not sopose to be here.....the dark lord Cheshire must have put them down there to kill us....." Mae sighed again

"so theres no way to acctuly kill them then?" Jensay asked

"nope...as i said 'there immortal' " Mae repeated her self

"right...well we'll just have to drive them back" Dustin said clenching his hand as though just catching some thing

"only you, Sheena, Lansino and Jensay can fight them off, are weapons are basicly usesless with out are jewels, and mine cant really do much only agenst the darkness....at least for the moment " Mae told them

"well in any case we should get going before some thing finds us" Mansino told them, every one noded in agreement and started to move more down through the maze

"you think the Jaken that that person wrote down was the same as the Jaken that saved us and meet in the mines?" Sheena asked Dustin as they walked to gether causing Jensay to turn alittle red with jelousy

"mmm im sure there are alot people named Jaken but it might be" Dustin said with a shrug of his shoulders

"....i hope hes alright...." Sheena said sadly and quietly, Jensay came up to her other side

"Jakens a great frighter, im sure him and Henshin are fine" Jensay gave her a small smile

Sheena returned the smile "yeah i guess..." she said alitle lost now in thought

Dustin had now a grave look on his face, they were standing on the far-eastern wall, witch was a long passage way, at the end of the passage a short stalky purple skined demon was crouched like a chimp using his hands to keep its balance by putting them out infront of it

"wh-what is that?" Mansino asked as he hid behind Lansino

"its a cave demon, a lower classed one, it wont attack us, there basicly blind, they can only move around by using sonic radar" Mae told them

"so there like bats" Dustin said with a slight smile

"yeah really big bats minus the wings and plus the claws" Mansino said in a trembling voice

"dont worry they wont hurt us unless provoked" Mae said trying to comfert him

"i know...there just creepy looking" Mansino said steping from behind Lansino, they slowly continued down the hall past the cave demon, it turned as they past it watching them with is large yellow eyes, its eyes had black spheres swirling around inside.

As they continued down the hall they spoted white arrows on the ground

"hey this must be where Jaken was, if we follow these we'll-" before Jensay could finish his sentence loud steps could be heard from around the corrner, soon a man in a matalic colored armour came out, his face was attached to his chest, it looked like a sorta skull

"ah, so your the humans that have bin giving lord Cheshire so much trouble?" the man laughed

"Cheshire?" Dustin asked

"thats the dark lords name" Mae told him and the others

" yes thats right, he sent me and a few 'friends' down here to take care of you kids, he sent the gread Dstuna the metal genral" he laughed reveling a row of sharp white teeth

"we'll see who will be taking care of who" Kalimari said readying his sword

"its whom" Jensay said with a sigh

"what?" Kalimari asked in a confused voice

"its whom will take care of whom....didnt you stay awake in grammer class?" Dustin asked

"heh well you know how it is...with all the late night 'study' sessions with my hunnys" Kalimari said with a nervous smile

Mae sighed and took out her whip getting ready as well

every one now as well took out there weapons readying for the fight

"geez you kids are annoying....well i'll just leave it to them" the man told them

five large pink skined demons with 4 horns running downt he back of there neck to to the top of there skull came leaping out from behind another wall

"dam those are flesh demons!" Mae said stumbling back abit from shock

Dustin gulped hard, Mae had told them that they were immortal and they didnt have all the jewels yet to beat them, but that wouldnt stop them

the flesh demons charged at them, there were seven of them one for each of them, lucky for them the hall here was much bigger giving them enough space to acctuly fight

Dustin slashed at the demon that was after him, his blade bounced right off the demons hide, he striked again, still no effect, the demon clawed at him with such speed and power he barly blocked in but it still sent him flying backward

Jensay used his jewel to make his water marage move and attacked the demon from all sides, even his clones water blades had no effect, the demon could see witch one was real and witch one wasnt, and quickly striked jensay back with Dustin

Kalimari attacked his demon feircly picking up a plain old iron shield that layed ont he ground and bashed it agenst the demon, it had no affect other then sending it stumbling back, but the demon grabed the shield smaking him in to Jensay knocking Jensay down again

Sheena stabed one in its eye but it didnt even cause it to go blind even thought he blade had pierced right in to its head, the demon grabed her by the neck and through her in to the wall along side the others

Mae lashed them from a distance as Mansino fired arrows from behind her and lansino knocked back the ones that came at them, but even with them working to gether they couldnt even make the demons flinch in pain much less die, they were all down now except Belanishi

"...every one run ill hold them off..." Belanishi said bravely hiding her fear well as she held her sword tightly in front of her

"no we can beat them together we-" Belanishi smacked Dustin in the face hard, he grabed the cheek she had slaped

"dont be an idiot! just go i wont beable to kill them but it will at least by you some time!" Belanishi said angerly "just...let me" she said now staring in to his eyes, they showed much fear but behind the fear there was power and bravery

"come on!" Mae said grabing his hand as every one stood for a moment and then quickly ran off following the arrows, once they had reached the exit of the maze the roof of the cave where Belanishi was hit by lightning and collapsed

"NO!" Dustin yelled out as he tried to run back in to the maze but was hit in the back of the head by Lansino and was knocked out cold, he threw him on to his shoulder as they quickly ran out in to the darkness realm and ran to the border crossing it hiding by a large group of rocks

Dustin had gained consiousness a while before hand and was sitting quitely away fromt he group, there spirtis were down as they all tried to deal with there guilt and greef in there own ways

"...we..we should get going" Mae said being the first one to say any thing in a while as stood up

"going? going where!?" Dustin snaped at her

"to get the rest of the jewels! or have you forgotten that?" Mae snaped back

Dustin stayed quite for a moment "...with out her....we cant defeat any thing....theres no point....we lost.." Dustin said saddly and quietly

Mae was very angery now "shut up! lisen to your self, we dont know shes dead, for all we know she could be out already" Mae was cut off from continuing by a small black bird

"she aint dead or on her own " the bird say as it picked at its feathers "a shert while ago some of e'm demon fellows came out carrying a girl with some strange armor like you fella's" the bird said looking at them

~shes alive...but shes with them~ Dustin thought to him self with out even asking how a bird could talk, he didnt care, all that was immportat was getting Belanishi back, for some one that was hated by her he cared a great deal about her now, why, he wasnt sure, but the fact remained he did

Mansino was poking at the bird

"ok every one we have to save Belanishi!" Dustin yelled out as Mansino continued to poke the bird who poked his finger with is beck and flew off

"oh and how do you sopose we do that? even though the army may still be looking it doesnt mean the castle where they probly took her isnt guarded" Mae said "and ferther more..." her voice trailed off seeing no one was even looking over at her, every one else was crowded togther making a plan, she had a worried face on "HEY LISEN TO ME!" she yelled at them

"oh were you talking to us?" Lansino asked in a questioning face

Mae sighed "fine...agenst all odds we'll go rescue her..." Mae sighed again "id be worried about you all if i wasnt there any way"

"thank you" Dustin smiled "so we just have to head to that castle then i take it?" Dustin asked pointing to a conspicuasly large caslte on a large moution side deep in the dark realm, it wasnt very visable but they could see it alittle due to some of the bright lights coming for the castle windows

"yeah thats it i belive" Mae said with another sigh

"oh come on Mae, were the worriors of legend nothing bad can happen to us " Kalimari laughed in his usual cheery mood

"i guess...." Mae sighed again

"well we should get going now then...lisen every one...i dont exspect us to acctuly pull this off" Dustin said with a sigh "so...if any of you dont want to go...say so now..." Dustin waited a moment, the silence was cut off by Kalimari laughing "whats so funny?"

"you, lisen Dustin, if we quite now this entire world will be doomed not to mention we wont beable to get home, ether way, theres a chance of dying so why would we not at least try to do the right thing?" Kalimari said with a small grin

"yeah i have to agree" Sheena said with a small smile

"me two" Jensay smiled putting his hand out, Sheena put her hand on top of his

"me three" Lansino said putting his hand on Sheena's

"me four" Mansino said putting his on top of Lansino

"me five" Mae said with another sigh putting her's on top of Mansinos

"well im acctuly 7 but eh ill be 6 this time" Kalimari laughed putting his hand on top of Mae's

"alright.." Dustin smiled putting his on top of every one elses as they all pushed them down rasing them high in the air with a yell

"well....lets go" Dustin sighed as they gathered there things and began the long rigerous journey to the caslte of Cheshire where he kept Belanishi.
