The end and the Beginning Part 2
I watch as this nightmare become darker and darker as if it will never end I had lost everything my family, my friend, and my hope what is there left for me? These questions kept running through my head as this monster's eyes burned into my mind. My stomach felt sick from the smoke and the sight this thing had caused, Why in the world would this be happening to me? I finally gave up why try to fight when I have already lost? My hand fell towards my face covering it my heart pounded as I await the blow from this monster. I hear the monster screeching my body shook wondering what it was doing then everything fell silent the dead silent. My hand fell away from my face as I slowly opened my eyes. I was still laying on the dirt road the car was now gone and the monster was on the ground as if something sliced through it. I laid their tears and blood mixed morning for my parents and wondering why I had lived. As my body slowly gained it strength back I stood up looking around it was still dark and my body felt still numb. I forced myself to move wondering if I could find some place safe. I saw nothing but darkness my heart pounded wondering what had happen to the world why was it so dark? I kept on walking wondering what was the point why couldn't I just fall and lay on this dirt path to die? As I was thinking of falling on the ground to die a familiar voice yelled my name. The voice that was crying out was in panic, worry, and fright. "Josh!!!!!!!!" I heard it over and over I finally looked around as a dirty brown haired girl almost knocked me over "Kathy?" I said in shock thinking she was on vacation too in Washington State. "Mom, and dad, house, gone, I don't, know, please!" The words were coming to quick out of her mouth and she was out of breath from running from something. She had almost as bad as scars and cuts as much as me, her arm was hanging as if it was broken from something she held tightly onto my shirt crying for her parents. It was as if she never had a chance to even mourn for her parents until now. All I could think was to hold her and try to calm her down after losing the people she cared for. But this moment couldn't last any longer as we both herd a loud booming noise she then almost dug her nails into my skin as her eyes were wide open in fright her body began to shake as if this noise meant death to her. A loud Roar and a sound of loud steal dragging onto the ground, moving rocks and stones away and crashing back down to the ground. It got closer and closer as if it was after Kathy and me, I finally looked up into green glowing eyes with a red outline he eyes were staring back at me which gave me a cold chill up my spine. It was a giant holding a weird looking sword curved and twisted with sharp edges and it looked like it was used quite a lot. It’s hand extended towards us Kathy shook quickly and almost pulled me towards the ground as she started running. She was in panic I quickly gained my legs back and started to run with her, her eyes were moving quickly like they were trying to look for something quickly. Her voice was scratchy as she yelled out “Josh! Help me quick!! I need to find a cave or something now to hide in now!!!” I then knew this was the monster that caused her to lose her family, I don’t know what came over me but I let her hand go and started to race towards the monster. Kathy turned her eyes grew wide with fright yelling “Josh no please!! It’ll kill you!!!” I kept on running towards the monster my legs were starting to give out on me but I moved as quickly as I could to the monster. I could hear Kathy’s tears yelling me to stop and stay with her then try to get revenge for her but my mind and my heart burned for revenge. As I looked at the monster more my mind started to wonder how could I possibly beat this monster and still live. As the monster roared with anger its hand was trying to grab me, it raked the ground with its nails I quickly jumped to the side dodging it. I finally was able to see this monster’s face I looked up as my eyes widen in fear, Its face was close to a Ogre’s face its teeth were giant fangs and it was nothing I have ever seen in my life. I stood there in fear as Kathy yelled watching the sword fall on top of me as it made a huge crashing noise which shook the earth leaving everything crushed in its path.
