It's almost funny how the most logical way of life can be found through the eyes of a werewolf or a vampire. Right now I shall compare the two, and this is really random thought.

In a werewolf pack there is the Leader, a leaders mate, and then the others. Now, I'm talking about school here, so try and stay with me. In a vampire family, there is always the oldest vampire who is like the father. School isn't like this, there are just way to many people.

So by now your going "She doesn't know what she's talking about"

Ok, so here's my point, a school is like a werewolf pack.

Only, there's no leader.

School is a constant battle of dominance among the bolder 'werewolves', while others simply go with the flow. But almost everyone is trying to proclaim thier superioity, but unlike werewolves, we don't fight claw and fangs over it.

Well, not all the time...teehee...

I've been observing my fellow students and have found we humans make subtle gestures of our superiority, like vampires do.

Here are some examples, are you with me so far?

When you and a fellow student approach a door to leave the classroom, your eyes usually meet for a moment. The more submissive person (or the person who wants to avoid confrontation) will usually back down or pause to let the other person go threw. I've often seen people grinning after this act, for some reason or another. But I believe this our inner werewolf coming out, making us feel proud because we won the dominance display. But if both people are dominant (or are having a rather bad day) they will end up running into eachother or scoffing (sometimes there's growling)

It's rather fun to watch, but annoying to participate in.

But this dance happens everyday, this and many others. We witness and participate in these rituals everyday, some of us go through them as werewolves (dominant and feral) and others are vampires (flexible and clever)

Werewolf or vampire, there's still a little monster in us all.
