I guess I should vent about how a lot of my cousins are leaving for study abroad, grad school, work, and the army. No words can express how much I'm going to miss them. We've grown up together, bullied each other, and skated together. Now we're just grown up..
We were the notorious kids. All the adults loved us and we were the youngest generation. 16 years later? There's already 1 or maybe 2 generations below us, Chaogo leaves for the east coast for the army, Randy goes to Pennsylvania for grad school, Sharon leaves for Taiwan, Mugo is going to work in Japan for 2 years starting next year, Hego is moving away from SD and into the OC once again, and Jade/Chris are in Aussie Land. Things are happening so fast and I can't bear to think that we're not ALL going to get together until YEARS later. When that time comes, will some of us be married? Graduated college? Had kids?! I can't imagine it. I'm saddened by the fact that they're all leaving, but you know what makes it better? That they'll never forget us. 3nodding
About three weeks ago, Chaogo called me from his basic army training in the east and told me that everything's going well. He says misses us so much and he'll always keep in contact even though making calls can sometimes be a difficult thing. I'm going to miss Chaogo and his funnyness at our parties. He's the one that coached me at beer pong, allowed me to try some hooka, and still came over early in the morning to make us breakfast.
Before Sharon left on the plane for Taiwan, she texted me saying she loves me and she'll miss me and my drunk smiling and that we'll FB/webcam whenever we all have time. I'm going to miss teaching her,coaching her, and testing her in Chinese. We've hung out so much I feel like I know her better than my own sister XD.
Hego is moving a LOT closer to me and I told him that now we get to hang out more! His reaction? "Omg... get away from me *shove." LOL. Even though he acts all tough and mean, deep, deep,... maybe even deeper down, he loves me a lot haha. Hego always takes care of me when I visit SD. Feeding me the best steak, giving me the last of my favorite "ha gao" during dim sum, gives me hilarious advice about college, and always wants to team up with me during Taboo. He loves us haha.
Mugo is going to be stationed in Japan probably next year for 1 or 2 years. We text and talk online all the time. Our conversations usually consist of youtube video links, rick rolls, or ron rolls hahaha. He also tries to recruit me to play their stupid computer games with them lol. Such as Diablo, D2, dota, or HON. They talk about it so much around me, that sometimes I wonder how good I can be XD. Well anyway, he said he had always wanted to work in Japan and he'll always be on AIM for us to talk to. I better spend as much time with him as I can then.
I wish I could talk each and everyone of them now, but I'm just too sleepy now. I came back a while ago from an AP Lit group meeting and I'm bruised from doing Muay Thai for our film.
Although The Lee Unit is separated for now, I can imagine the day we all get together. That will definitely be a good day *smiles
