eek I know... I can't believe I did so well either... I'll get the rest of the results when the school mails my report card to me later, for now though I think its safe to say I passed my year. 4laugh
But thats it for school for quite awhile... which would be great, if I knew what I was going to do this summer sweatdrop
Okay, I've got a few things that I know I'm gonna do right off the bat. For starters, this Friday (June 22nd) I'm heading down to spend the night at JenJen's house so we can catch the new Naruto Movie (in the Land of Snow) on the 23rd. Sean's coming with which is gonna be the awesomes -lol- and all three of us have village headbands that we're wearing to the theater. Both Sean and I made ours in Art class as a final project. Mine is from the Sand Village (I loves Gaara heart ) You can see it in the pictures below. I keep it in my room above my Bleach Hollow Mask and my Phone ^^
Its actually made of wood with metal fastenings holding it to the material. I figured wood would be lighter and cheaper to make the headband out of. 3nodding
After the movie though, things are just kinda thrown in... I'm hoping to see my BF some time through the summer... if he can make it sweatdrop or if I can get my parents to drive me to his place. Its a real drag having to live so far away from each other... well, its not THAT far buts its still enough that my parents* mom is really ify about driving. Its like a 1 hour to 2 hour drive (I think...) and she doesn't feel like having to do that every weekend. *my dad actually has NO IDEA I'm dating right now xd I wanna see how long I can keep him in the dark about this... its one of my goals ^^
Something else I'm supposed to do this summer is get a job... I'll work on that...
Then theres just getting time to see my friends. I'm sure to see Chris and Kev and Mundy alot, I mean, I live right in Gratten with 'em biggrin But its Sean and JenJen and Sash who I'm worried about not spending time with. I'm sure we'll all find a way though... we always do.
A few little things I wanna do this Summer include: -Getting a darker tan than last summer (I keep this goal for EVERY summer ^^) -Convince my dad that I can wait 'til I'm 17 to get my license (Just more schooling really... I dont want THAT) -Finally get a steady hair color (The search never ends!) -Get art for Art Show ready (I can't believe I won artist of year and they STILL want me to work stressed ) and... I'll probably come up with more if I get bored sweatdrop
In a futile attempt at trying to find one specific religion that had confused me greatly... I stumbled into wikipedia. And looking around, I spotted all these awesome religions that I either never heard of or totally caught me by surprise as simply being a religion in itself. Like Alchemy. I didnt know it was acutally a religion! Here, take a look at a few of the religions that caught my eye. maybe along the way I'll actually find the one I've been trying to look up...
Western alchemy was a forerunner of modern scientific chemistry. Alchemists used many of the same tools that we use today. These tools were not usually sturdy or in good condition, especially during the Dark Ages of Europe. Many transmutation attempts failed when alchemists unwittingly made unstable chemicals. This was made worse by the unsafe conditions. Alchemy as a Religion
According to the THC Ministry, the references to cannabis as an ingredient of the holy anointing oil is actually from the Torah (Five Books of Moses), Exodus 30:23. The plant is called in Hebrew "kaneh bosem" (literally "fragrant cane" wink . Contrary to the translation of the Septuagint, and supported by both Aramaic translations (the Targum and the Peshita), this is identified as the cannabis plant. A theory exists that the Hebrew "kaneh bosem" is the etymological precursor for the word "cannabis". Weed as a Religion
One of the most frequently cited tenets of Chaos magic is that "Nothing is True and Everything is Permitted," a quote attributed to Hassan I Sabbah and used by Friedrich Nietzsche in his work Thus Spoke Zarathustra. Like Crowley's "'Do what thou wilt' shall be the whole of the law," this phrase is often mistakenly interpreted in its most literal sense to mean that there is no such thing as objective truth, so people are free whatever they chose. However, "Nothing is True and Everything is Permitted" is more widely interpreted to mean "there is no such thing as an objective truth outside of our perception; therefore, all things are true and possible." Chaos Magic as a Religion
Like Scientologists, Unariuns believe in soulic immortality and that all people have past lives. They also believe that our solar system was once inhabited by ancient interplanetary civilizations. While they seem to have similarity to the Aetherius Society or to Raƫlism as they emphasize "space brothers" who will come from the stars in 33 spaceships to improve humanity, these beliefs are not held by all Unariuns and in fact, are discounted by many as contradictory to true Unariun principle. The Unarius Academy of Science
"Invisible Pink Unicorns are beings of great spiritual power. We know this because they are capable of being invisible and pink at the same time. Like all religions, the Faith of the Invisible Pink Unicorns is based upon both logic and faith. We have faith that they are pink; we logically know that they are invisible because we can't see them." The Invisible Pink Unicorn Religion... yeah...
Take a look around the list yourself... if you find a religion that catches you by surprise, be sure to tell me ^^ heart List!!! -Pips
P.S.: As for me... I actually lean closer to Agnosticism although I CURRENTLY HAVE NO RELIGION. So please don't go trying to convert me to whatever. I'm a free agent of the universe and I like it this way... it means I get free weekends ^^ Agnostics claim either that it is not possible to have absolute or certain knowledge of God or gods; or, alternatively, that while individual certainty may be possible, they personally have no knowledge. Agnosticism in both cases involves some form of skepticism.
Demographic research services normally list agnostics in the same category as atheists and non-religious people,[1] although this can be misleading depending on the number of agnostic theists who identify themselves first as agnostics and second as followers of a particular religion. Agnosticism if you were wondering
