In this entry, I will list all the things that I have learned (about life, the world, and other micellaneous things) in the seventeen long years of my life. I'd give you a philosophical warning about what your about to read... but really, why would I post it if I didn't want you to read it?
- Everything depends on perspective.
- People will only miss you for what you meant to them or did for them, not you as a person.
- Equivalent Exchange is a bed time story to keep children out of trouble and on top of their chores. No matter how hard you work, you will lose it all in the end and it will have meant nothing.
- Girls and Boys are not as different as they appear to be. Both are complicated, both are emotional and both are human. Only Stereotypes have sperated them.
- As much as you have control over your life, everyone around you influences it as well, and you influence theirs. No matter what you do.
- There are two types of people in the world: good and bad. One without the other would mean neither would exist.
- Nothing is black and white, in between them lies a thin line of grey.
- Perfect Equality is a pipe dream. For everyone to be happy, we'd all have to have everything we ever wanted... and no one wants that.
- Once all your wishes have been granted; all of your dreams will be destroyed.
- Life is like a rollercoaster: -It's scary -It can makes you laugh AND scream -Sometimes you throw up -Sometimes you wish it would end, other times you wish it'd go on forever -It's better with friends -It's never free. Even if you sneak in; you'll get caught and have to pay -It has its ups and downs, parts you like and parts you don't -Even if they aren't in the same seat, everyones on the same ride -Eventually, it does come to an end and you'll have to get off to let someone else on
- What you like and what you're good at can be two totally different things.
- You've got one life, and you're new at it; therefore you're bound to make mistakes.
- Remember your mistakes. That way you can decide whether or not to learn from them.
- What happens in the past cannot be undone; only made up for.
- People are books without titles... only because they haven't been fully written.
- What you see in a person is all they'll let you see. There's a part of everyone that they keep to themselves.
- Deceit and Deception run both ways. If you let someone think they've decieved you; then you've just decieved them.
- Broken hearts are dangerous. You could step on the sharp pieces by accident.
- Love is a two way street... and its all unmarked, full of intersections and the lights don't work. You have to figure it out for yourself.
- Only one thing will happen to you after you die, all we can do is guess until then.
- Setting your standards low will guarentee you'll always be blown off your feet. But setting them high and getting that just plain PWNS.
- Variety is the spice of life. Just depends on what your adding that spice to.
- Lies hurt those who tell them, until they're found out, then they hurt everyone.
- The loudest voice will be listened to, while the right voice goes unnoticed.
- Its the little things and simple gestures that people will appriceate most. They're easier to fit in your pocket and you can carry more of them around with you.
- Freedom of speech means shutting up and letting someone else talk.
- People's actions can contradict their words.
I can hug you and say I hate you at the same time... but only because I hate how I can never truely hate you.
- People's words can contradict their feelings.
I'll ask you to leave me alone, but really all I want is a hug and a shoulder to cry on.
- People's feelings can contradict their actions.
I'll want to tell you everything, but my mouth never moves.
- I may not know everything, I may be flawed and scared and scarred, I may be wrong at times and do things even I don't mean to do, I may be imperfect; but this is who I am. But I can't change that. And niether can you. I've learned enough in seventeen years to know I have alot left to learn, and the only thing that will change me are those experiences to come. I believe both in fate and in the power to control where I end up. Because perhaps it's fate the guides my decisions, and that my decisions decide my fate. Life is chaotic and unpredictable, even when you think you have it all planned out. And I'll enjoy every minute of it the best I can.
