ok so you know i work at mcdonalds right?
well this moring we were out of a ton of stuff.... paper for receipts....medium cups for coffe... and we were running out of hashbrowns...
well we were running all the orders by memory until a tour bus shows up and we thought we were in big trouble cause when the older people come in they usually want two things.... coffe and icecream...
well i broke out the backup pots for coffe and we restocked all the icecream mix but we forgot one thing.. to check our hashbrown supply
anywho while we are everywhere inside nobody really takes notice on whats happening at the drivethrew.... but they were starting to get backed up
and that is when we ran out of hashbrowns
needless to say nobody was happy
our delivery truck had just arived and our hashbrowns were starting to be offloaded but they were not ready to be sold
not that anyone inside can help out the window cause two people have called in sick and a second tour buss has arived
so the lady in front of the line of people outside has ordered four hashbrwons and refuses to pull off to the side so that we can wait on the people behind her who have not odered hashbrowns.
we cannot just simply refund her because the computures will not refund without a reciept which we are currently out of so our outside line keeps getting longer
then somebody hollers
"they're past the driveway"
andsure enough i look out side and our line is into traffick!!
our manager has started yelling at the lady to move... which she does not comply and begins to yell back...
so i'm dragged back into my job cause ofthe masses of poeple who are pouring inside to order or just complain about the line (these people have actually abandoned their cars in the middle of the raod)
to which we point at the woman who will not move
by this time the hashbrowns are ready but the womand is irate and wont move even after he hashbrwons have been served!!!!
did i mention the cop about ten cars back in the road who cannot go anywhere because we have stopped traffic?
well he is not impressed and has now entered the building
(yes believe it or not i did say elvis has entered the building)
bad joke, i know
so when he went to see what was happening he did not expect to be covered with coffe that the woman threw at the manager
assulting an officer....
do i luv my job?
i do now!!!
