Thank god for stupidity.
For the last ten days I've been cursing all of puppy-kind for being so unbearably dumb. Today Tango and Sadie proved to me that, while annoying, stupidity can be a good thing. They had their first vet check-up this morning and had to get booster shots. The vet just stuck a treat in front of them and they were so happy about the treat they didn't even notice when they got stuck with a needle. Then a few hours ago they were being hyper and annoying, and ran into Mom while she was getting ice for her water. She dropped an ice cube on the floor, and Tango decided that the ice cube was the single greatest toy in the known universe, grabbed it, hid under the table and yelled at her sister every time she came within three feet. So then I got another ice cube and slid it across the kitchen floor in front of Sadie. She jumped it and ran away with it. The house stayed quiet until the ice melted, which was quite a while because all the heat got out when we had the door open while we were trying to get the dogs in from the yard. Then they were hyper again until Tango got stuck under Mom's bed, freaked out, still couldn't get out, and fell asleep. I was watching Bones, and Sadie was up on the bed watching with me. She likes that show I guess xd She wouldn't take her eyes off the tv, and her ears pricked up every time Zach talked. I'm not sure why, but she likes him. It was pretty funny.
