Normally I would start out saying how annoyed or generally angered at the world I was, but today I must breath a sigh of relief and thank the Guardian Forces that things will be good. I was basically staring death in the face for the past few days since the last journal. After I managed to get it down everything took a turn for the worse and I was let bed ridden and boardering on death. I blame the very last mission I did before that other journal. I had to fight and the person I was pitted against was no push over either, plus I couldnt use my gunblade, so it was all hand to hand to antlers really. You know, if I didnt look absolutly ridiculous I wouldnt mind keeping them.

Well, that little tussle put my body into over drive, making the two halves attack each other more then before. If I hadnt gone to battle, I would have been able to last a little bit longer. But I did, so I was paying for it. I was about ready to accept this fate of mine when the Garden got a call saying those scientists had figured out a way to reverse the effects they had placed on me. I would have showed joy if I could... and if it was in my character to show such and emotion.

Cid sent Zell and Irvine with me to get back up north. Normally I would have complained since I hardly wanted a loudmouth and a womanizer near me, but they were helping me get back to normal. By that time I couldnt rightfully move on my own, so I needed people to help me along to the train, and then into the lab where this all started. When Zell is worried he seems to shut up, so I didnt mind as much. In fact I sort of enjoyed it because I know it will never happen again.

Reaching the lab they lead Zell and Irvine into the room with the ray gun that started this whole mess. The guys had to set e down and leave the room, which left me stareing at teh ceiling of this place wondering if this would work. It really didnt matter to me by then, whatever was going to happen would happen and there wasnt a whole lot I could do about it.

Pointing the gun toward me they fired that annoying lazer at me for a second time. There was no real feeling to the lazer hitting me, but what felt weird was all the deer parts and fur just seemed to melt off. Antlers clattered to the floor once they melted off my head, the hooves covering my fingers slid off and dropped to the floor, the same for the hooves on my feet. All the fur just seemed to be washed away to the floor, and after all was gone they turned off the gun and walked over to me, again unsure what had happened.

It took me a mintue to get my bearings straight and my eyes focused, but once I did I looked to everyone and got up. Sadly I only really had my jacket on to begin with... which sent Zell into a fit of laughter I will kill him for later. They did offer me some clothes after I had gotten done threatening Zell and Irvine, which I took gladly and put on to get Zell to shut up... it didnt work right away.

Well, I didnt stay there very long, not wanting anything to do with this place any more. Once I had gotten dressed I up and left, heading toward the train with or without my party members. They did stay for a bit, apparently asking the scientists what had happened... I didnt want to know, all I knew was that I was back to normal. Thats all I really cared about.

When they eventually caught up we all got on the train and headed back to the Garden. I didnt say a word the whole trip, but the others wouldnt shut up. Maybe I should introduce them to those nobles I had to babysit a few weeks back. I bet they would get along fine. Either way, I am back to normal and back at the Garden. Finally I can get back to doing what I was trained to do and start going on some real misssons again.
