Is there any such thing as true love?
Is it true that someday someone will be sent to you from above?
Or are we in a naive dream?
Wishing like hell that when you find love you'll know what it means.
But how can you tell what's true and what's not?
How do you know if what you need is what you've got?

I guess in a way you'll never know.
And when they say love is out there, I don't think so.
If love is out there will it truly stay?
And not get tired after a few days?

If that is love then s**t I'm glad I'm missing out.
I want love that contains truth and not one ounce of doubt.
But we all know that kind of love can't be found.
No matter how much you look around.

You'll never find what authors write about in fairy tales.
Because you never see when the Prince bails.
You never see the truth that shows love is not real.
It thrives in a fantasy world where no one has to deal.

But this is the real world and we have real pain.
So you see love in a book and love in real life aren't the same.
There is no happy ever after in this world.
And the girl doesn't always get the boy and the boy doesn't always get the girl.

This world has the fantasy of love but it's just that.
And when you say something that hurts someone in this world you can't take that back.
You can wish on every star in the sky.
You can ask every one why love isn't real, but they can't tell why.

Because they know absolutely nothin about the phenomenom called love.
They don't know anything about how it feels to put someone else above.
And I don't mean to sound like I don't believe love is out there.
But I can truly say that it's not important enough for me to care.
