It was strange... though that in itself seemed an odd thing. For, how was one to interpret strange when there was no normal to base it on? Not that she knew, there wasn't. But to be alive felt... abnormal.

She was standing... somewhere. Out of doors, where the wind blew gently across her face. She could feel the pebbles and gravel under her feet, and she wiggled her toes. And what strange sensation that caused! Reverberations from those rocks' movements against rocks nearby seemed to shudder through her mind.

She put a hand up to her head. Even that movement she could feel through reverberations in the rocks.

She felt a little overwhelmed, already, and folded her legs underneath her and sat on the ground- for the moment putting aside the comprehension of the movements of the gravel and rocks in response to her movements, and the ground itself beneath that.

This is not right. Something is wrong with me. she thought. I somehow know so much, yet feel as if I know nothing. My mind feels so blank... but ready to go, all at the same time. I know nothing of languages, yet seem to be making sense to myself, at least. How did I even know how to sit, or that that is what to call what I just did? She shook her head, and sighed. This is almost too much at once. And it is definitely not enough. I know... I know that I should be able to see... even though I'm not sure what sight is. And I am fairly certain that the rocks's movements should not feel so connected to me.

Standing again, she spoke to herself.

"I am... Se'rox. Soon, I will find out how I am, who I am, and why." The statement seemed empty, as if there was no conviction behind it. But it was an honest statement, and that was enough.
