At the request of one of my most dedicated fans, (even if she is weaker, speaking in terms of her vocabulary, than she would like to be) I've decided to make an entry about the difference between the genders.
As you can see, I've altered the idea a bit.
She said, "Could you write an entry about equality between men and women?"
And I'm actually writing about THE equality between men and women, so forgive me if this is not exactly what you wanted.
Over the years, I have come to realize that the 'equality' that some women want will never happen because, in truth, it is not possible.
To make this simple, I'll just divide women into three groups. This is based off of rumor and hearsay, so make no mistake; it's as truer as it gets.
The Girl Who does not Care:
This is the girl who likes when a guy opens a door or pulls a chair out for her. She takes it, and is either indifferent or enjoys the attention and does not usually think twice about it. I.E: My mother.
It's not a sign of any kind of patronization, rudeness or indicative of a female's inferiority.
Whether or not it started out as displaying respect, it has became, to them and the men that show chivalry, a type of custom or part of culture.
Because women these days are generally not respectable, I generally do not show them respect, generally, or in general, General.
If I get a chance I will open a door, but as far as pulling chairs out-- well, you can pay for your own accursed meal!
When I do act chivalrous, I generally get a feeling of humbleness, somewhat, and I am glad that I can do something kind for someone else.
In this world, that is about as close to 'adventuresome' that it gets; chivalry.
If chivalry ever died, it was by suffocation-- and it was a woman whodunnit.
2. The Girl Who Doesn't Know What's Going On
This type of girl is she who basically follows whoever is holding out the plate of cookies. It's kind of like on Popeye the Sailor Man in that one episode where he and Bluto were enticing the customer over to their diners, back and forth, with different meals. The scent would float over, possibly tapping him on the shoulder, and draw him like a female who knows what she wants and how to get it.
If you open the door for her, she may or may not frown at you, but you can be certain that when she is with her buddies, she'll be blasting men for being chauvinistic pigs. Or would that be chivalrous pigs?
The point is, half of the women out there who frown upon men showing specific courtesy to women do it only because they're following some witless person's advice.
3. Here's the one we all have been waiting for:
The femenazi.
She will go out of her way to make you experience first-hand what the highest level of hell feels like if you so much as glance at her exposed cleavage, consider complementing her beauty, (even in earnest) or attempt to pay for a meal.
Holding a door open means losing however many limbs it takes for you to open it, and she'll probably swear upon your first meeting in order to immediately shatter any thoughts in your mind of her being 'cute'.
She does not want respect, she wants to be another guy.
This, I can somewhat understand.
Take, for example, how guys act with girls. He'll possibly touch her hair, slap her in the rear, (and in turn have to buy a jack to dislodge my hand from his eye socket) or 'imply' things.
This self-same person would not even remotely consider doing this to a guy-- so why should a girl have to put up with it?
See, I've thought about it. On some level, there should be no fundamental difference between the way men and women socialize.
Why must women have sexual, perverted jokes thrust at them (pun intended) during a rousing bout of badinage?
Why should she have to slap a guy and tell him to keep his hands to himself? Why does there have to be sexual tension in the air at all?
Really, just think about this for a moment! Women are honestly treated not like humans-- but as WOMEN, and not in kindly manners like standing before she sits, but in every single deviant manner a guy can possibly conceive.
Then I realize that it is because women are seducing, shameless creatures who need to be locked up until they realize their place.
If you're going to act like a toy, you're going to be treated like one.
These women are not where they are because of men, it's because of themselves!
How do I know this?
Take me for example: Everyone TREATS me like a child. They speak down to me, to use callous terms. Why? Because I don't make myself out to be more than a guy who does not know everything and is willing to work.
Maybe women would not be treated perfectly, but they would be treated a whole lot better if they were not such audacious sluts.
But back to the equality between men and women:
Men are physically stronger, women are more emotional, (at least outwardly, but this is not a strict rule; I wear my emotions on my sleeve, myself) women have needs different from men. ( Coughtamponscough)
We are fundamentally different in ways that I do not know because I have done no research.
The point is, there can NEVER be 'absolute' equality, not the way femenazis want it, because we are different.
So there you go. From all my experience, I have only learned that there simply cannot be a world where everyone is treated EXACTLY the same.
And for what it's worth, I would prefer to hold a door open than not.
