Being in it's usual state of chaos, Tina's house was just as alive as ever. The only strange thing this time around was that most of said madness was actually coming from Tina herself.
She was found talking to herself, rocking back and forth and nervously twitching when sitting still, and basically looked like a nervous wreck. She had moments which it seemed like she was fighting with herself. Everyone, even Wolven, kept their distance from Tina.
Zee had already gone back to her own home and was comfortably relaxing on the wooden roof to her home during a hot summer day, until her own growling stomach snapped her out of her calm and serene state. Naturally, she jumped down and started scouting out the areas around the hill her house sat on for a quick meal, only to find Tina wondering around wearing only a long T-shirt, clinging to the spore that was gifted to her by her own tree. Tina's hair was a mess, and she looked as though she hadn't gotten any sleep in weeks. She was shaking uncontrollably, and mumbled softly to herself as if holding her own little conversation. Zee growled, standing on all four as she glared at Tina.
"What the hell are you doin' here? Get away from my hill!"
Tina looked over toward Zee and stumbled toward her with her arms out. "Sister...Oh dear sister...Please...I beg of you...I do not know what is the matter with me any more. Please...Everyone avoids me as if I were diseased...You must help me!"
Puzzled, Zee rose to her hind legs and scratched her head. "Say what now?"
Tina then stumbled forward, landing face first on the ground. Zee instantly rushed to her side to help her up. While grabbing Tina's arm, trying to pull the fallen cat girl to her feet, Tina violently pulled her arm away Zee. "What da bloody hell do ya think you're doing! Unhand me!"
Zee just stepped back, staring awkwardly at her sister. "Excuse me?!"
"You 'eard me, sheela! Ooo! Tall hill!" Tina giggled, dropped the spore she was caressing as she ran halfway up Zee's hill, falling over and barrel rolling to the bottom again.
Zee just watched in amazement and leaned down, picking up the large dandelion like spore, "...Sheela? What the hell is wrong with you? And why are you not wearin anythin' but a shirt?"
Tina grinned, shooting to her feet and leaning in toward Zee, "Why with all the questions and da talking and the funny face? Dontcha at least want to give your ol' sister a hug?"
"....Ok. Lets get you back to your place."
Meanwhile, back at Tina's place, Zapook's lab was currently the most active room in the house. Yinxao was test driving Zapook's new UFO around the large underground laboratory with wolven riding on top of it and squealing as if he were on a roller coaster. Chained up on the far side of the lab was the dark colored griffin that had came from one of the eggs Zee brought into Tina's house, and had previously tore it's own exit into Tina's walls. Zapook was inches away from it's snapping maw, looking over a clipboard and holding a vial in her right hand.
Expertly landing the aircraft next to Pookie, one side of the vehicle opened verically and Yinxao peeked up of it. "Why did we catch this thing again?"
"Because I really like griffins. And I've been meaning to study it. Thank you for catching it for me by the way."
Yinxao chuckled, climbing out of the vehicle. "No problem. You wanted to test the tractor beam on this thing anyway, right? Though I thought tractor beams were meant for tractors."
"I'm not even going to respond to that, Xao Xao." She held up the vial, "Wish I could just finish this thing...."
"What's that do?"
"Breaks down the structure of any creature that touches it."
"...So...You're going to kill the griffen?"
"It is a danger to this area, besides. I've be tying this little potions with a transmogrification spell I've been working on."
"I'll pretend I know what you're talking about."
Zapook sighs. "I want to make a potion that can temporarily turn someone into a shapeshifter."
"Well why didn't you say that?" Yinxao grins, placing her hands on her hips.
Wolven was trying to climb down from the top of the ufo, only to have Boem, the grunny, waiting for him as he reached the floor. Yinxao looked back at the two small animals, noticing Boem's fur was now dark blue in color.
"...Wasn't your bunny green?"
"Yep, he was."
"Why is he blue now? Oo! Did you try a spell with him and it went horribly wrong?"
"Nope."
"Did he get into your potions and spilled some kind of chemical on himself that stained his fur?"
"Nope again."
"Oh. So what happened?"
"I dyed him."
"...You...Dyed a green bunny blue..."
"Yep. I like him better blue."
"...O...k..."
Boem grinned as he slowly inched his way toward Wolven. Wolven scooted backward away from him, whimpering a bit. When Boem jumped toward him and yelled 'GRUFF' at the top of his lungs, Wolven screamed and turned tail, running dead into Zapook's leg. Zapook stumbled a bit, accidentally flinging the vial she held into the air. She crashed straight into the griffin and the vial broke in front of her, causing a foul smelling smoke to surround them. Yinxao quickly picked up Wolven and Boem and jumped back a few feet, watching as the smoke began to dissipate.
Zapook was sitting on the ground, rubbing her head. Almost immediately, she noticed that the chains that were once around the limbs of the griffin were now around her own limbs. "...What just happened?"
Yinxao slowly walked toward her, "Where did that griffin go?"
Zapook looked around, noticing it was no where to be found. "Un-cuff me! Something's not right!"
Yinxao grumbled after setting Wolven and Boem down, "That's an obvious statement...Are you ok?"
Next few minutes, Zapook spent her time drawing her own blood and running different samples of it through a few chemicals she had stored away. That's when the door belled sounded. As Zapook remained furiously at work, Yinxao decided to go up and answer it herself. As soon as she opened the door, Tina rushed in and clung to Yinxao. "Mew mew! How are you!" She then spotted Fluffles nesting on a nearby end table and squealed. "A little fluffy thing!!!" As Tina ran over to play with Fluffles, Zee walked in, eying her sister, the spore Tina carried floating in behind her.
"Somethin' is really wrong with her. And If you know anythin' about it, can you fill me in?"
Yinxao stared with a terrified expression at Tina, "Um...How about you go and get Tina to bed for now. I'll go tell Zapook you two are back."
"Oh? That thing's back too?" Zee pointed.
Yinxao turned around and saw the griffen padding into the room. The griffen now looked slightly bigger, and it's feathers on it's front half were now a light green, while the fur on it's back half were black. It's bird like wings were also black, matching the fur, and it's eyes were a pale red. Instead of having a lion like tail, the tail was now bushy, black and slightly longer.
It opened it's mouth to speak, but the two hear Zapook's voice as it said, "Found out where that griffin went."
