Anyway I made some more progress today with most of it being in the overworld sprites. I have some pictures that I'm going to post that show some of the abilities that I have made up so far, most of them from Laura because she's the fastest character I have made so far.
Here's Laura using Curaga to heal the team from that one jellyfish like looking monster...
Here's the famous ability, Penguin Rider, used by Laura.
Read Manga, a move shared by Sonia, Laura and Shaneen only I think.
Pchaw Pchang is a move only usable by Sonia, it raises everyones attack for some reason heh.
Also Wikipedia is a move only usable by Sonia, it has a very nice effect of auto healing you and making you get very strong. I'm still working on the effect of the monster of an ability.
Here's a house that I'm currently working on, it's very much incomplete.
Since the game is still a heavy beta this is how it looks like when I start the game, me outside a house with Sonia, Laura, and Greg waiting for me to talk to them so that they can join my team to do whatever it is we're going to do.
And the last one for today is a shot of us all walking toward nowhere in the very very betalike area.
All of the shots of the battle's are going to change in the way they look, especially the battle sprites. I'm going to make those look more like us. The monsters are also going to be differen't in a unique way I hope. I got started with some of the events of the game, an example being if you talk to the lamp post in one of the images above you find a dollar, if you step on the flowers fairies come out to kill you, a bunch of little things like that.
Um... yeah thats about it for now. I still have a long way to go to get the game look cooler and such an example being Laura's Penguin Slider will have penguins appear when she uses it little things like that.
I went ahead and added Shaneen, Nicole, and Marina into the game so all I need so far is one more person and I'll be done with the main characters which should leave the side characters left.
