Hello everybody!
Yes, it’s been ages (Almost a year) since I last made an entry in my gaian journal of random thoughts and whims. I was mainly posting on my blog site World Of Words or WOW (No, not World of Warcraft.) and The Bootleg News Reporter on TheOtaku.com . But I have failed to keep them up and haven’t posted in 3 months.
Yes…I shame myself….
I’ve been itching to post something for the past 2 months, but never sat down to type it out.
So why am I finally posting now here you ask? Well, today has been an off day. I was itching to do something and I had plenty to do around the apartment and my life in general, but it’s me, So I procrastinated and read a heap load of manga and watched a few videos on YouTube.
This still doesn’t satisfy your(the reader) quest for knowledge on why I am posting eh. Well, from watching video blogs from YouTube, I got a taste of blogging and decide to scratch my blogging itch and release pent up energy.
With that story out of the way, I can now begin my quest for monkey food canned blogged goodness!

I wanted to draw a picture for this journal’s heading but, my dad’s computer is not working right and the scanner is not working, nor is the internet working to it’s “full potential”.
So I picked a pic that I had squirreled away on photobucket and dusted the dirt off of it. It’s all sparkly now!
Random Thought
One of my neighbors was playing Guitar Hero earlier today. How do I know you ask? Well I was laying on the couch, when all of a sudden my ears picked up the lyrics to the song “Sweet Child of Mine”. At first I thought it was in my head, till I heard the unique sound of when you push the guitar buttons on Guitar Hero, and that’s how I found out what my neighbors where doing smile … Yeah their T.V.’s volume was up a bit much. It’s cool though, since it was a soothing sound.

Another Random thought
I think I want to do a video blog. Though, it might be a passing whim since I was watching video blogs earlier. It’s kinda like when you see someone eating clam chowder in a bread bowl and then you have a craving to eat it…know what I mean…I’m guessing no….

I have been contemplating over various topics I wanted to cover in my future journal entry updates. Yes, I will actually type them out and post them. Very unusual for me I know.
The ones I’ve come up with so far, are:
- A list of the mangas I have read with a plethora of commentary on the storylines. (I’ve read so many, I figured I’d keep a list to keep track of what I’ve read and loved.)
- A entry about my homage to AX this year. I got to stay in a hotel this year biggrin !
- My cosplay adventure. I cosplayed for the first time when I went to ax. My ears broke crying
- An entry dedicated to my random doodle drawings.
- One for my friends’ (You know who you are) random doodle drawings
- An update on which songs/music I’m into right now.
- RiceBall Chronicles, a short memoir of my childhood and my personality steming from that.
- And of course for anything that comes off the top of my head and for my life in general
They’ll be produced pretty much in the same order I have them list in now, though I might start on other first, depending on my mood.
Food-a-licious Random Thought
I love Fruit Stripe Gum!
I just love it!
Why is it soo lovable? Well it’s a childhood favorite of mine, that brings back many, oh so many nostalgic memories of striped fruity goodness. Sadly, I couldn’t find it for years and years, till I randomly saw it at my local Wal-Mart two or three weeks ago. My heart was overjoyed to see the smiling, colorful zebra mascot on the package, that I automatically bought a pack and then another a week later.
Still find no love in them gum? Well maybe this will turn you:
-It has 5 flavors, which include: “Wet N’ Wild Melon, Cherry, Lemon, Orange, and Peach Smash.”
I mean come-on! The names alone are full of random goodness! Why they only gave fun titles to only two of their flavors, I DON’T KNOW, but I love them for the randomness of it.
- They come with 15 strips a pack. Much more than other gum that just gives you 9 or so.
- The label is colorful and appealing. Yes, I am mesmerized by pretty colors and shiny things!
- Even the gum wrappers and the gum its’ self are colorful and cute! They even come with a FREE rub on tattoo (which are shitty, since it doesn’t come off right, but who cares?! It’s free..)
- It has a zebra as a mascot…Nuff said
The only things I’m not fond of it, is that it:
- It’s flavor doesn’t last long…
- It doesn’t leave you with spring fresh breath, it does the opposite.
It’s a dessert gum, it’s not to help your teeth or anything…and I love it.
I think I’ll end on that note since my gum rant last quite a while.
